Smeb is very good player in the world. but Smeb can't destroied Marin though pick Fiora, Riven and vs Rumble. usually Rumble is countered by Riven, Fiora in the lane. but Marin complated mission as defending the lane. and he performed the team fight, used TP better than Smeb. Marin is eligible for BEST TOP LANE PLAYER IN THE WORLD
Not a meta you want to carry from mid lane. The number one team at putting kill-share into mid was TSM and look how that turned out. The only "playmaking" mid lane champions played in the semi-finals and later was LeBlanc and Azir but even then Azir was picked more for utility. Most of the champs were Orianna, Azir, Ryze, Veigar, Viktor and Anivia. Teamfighting scaling mid laners that bring a lot to teamfighting. I think xPeke, Faker, Febiven and Kur0 all did well, but none were really on playmaking champions.

I definitely rate Marin over Faker this year. Faker had some really nice engage-kills, but he died a lot and didn't show up that much as Marin. Maybe it's because we have carry top laners meta, but w/e, this year Marin>Faker.
