What's CRAZY is the "Insec" is a standard move in LoL now. 10 years ago that was the PEAK of play, and now? Basically a requirement to break into diamond in Ranked as Lee
Doublelift's play at 18:38 was so insane. The fight goes so badly, but he stays so calm and holds onto his sums for so long. He's at 10% hp when he finally uses his heal, and he only uses it to give Svenskeren a boost. Then when the time is right, he turns the whole fight around and flashes forward. The presence of mind (no pun intended) needed to know the exact right moment to flip the switch is wild.
The old Summoner's Rift theme has that aura of preparing you for a heroic journey that can take you anywhere from the depths of hell or the silver cities above and you are just one guy behind the wheel, it is epic, it is grandiouse, it is fitting.
Playing League from Season 2 all the way to Season 8, this video was such a good nostalgia trip, the game was so different and it feels like it'll never capture the same feelings like it did back then.

I think DRX 2022 worlds run was a long series of best moments. I was cheering for them from groups and they made it. Amazing games all the way through.
It was a crazy time back when this all started. It felt like being a part of a huge community and I even remember so many players. There were a lot of big characters that made watching this esport more than just some sport event. To be fair I can't really compare that time with today. I was actually playing League back then and watched every game - even highlights from other regions. I still follow my favourite team (Fnatic) and will forever do so ... but nothing can recreate that hype of older League days.

heartbroken to not the have the FNC 18-0 and SKT 15-0 perfect seasons mentioned. OGs run from EU challengers to 2nd place in EU narrowly losing to the 18-0 FNC in a 3-2 finals into both teams making semis at worlds for the first time over asian teams ever.
And like everyone else its forgotten again that the final was eu vs eu while the literally only pro teams went from na, dominated the group stage ans got wrecked in semi

It is actually crazy this ROX roster never won an international tournament coz they existed during the SKT reign. And now Peanut gets fisted on GEN G every international tournament they attend lmao
Weirdest thing for me was that I started playing LOL in 2013, and I started watching in 2013 as well because I wanted to learn and see what the best did. At the time of me wanting to watch some Pro games, it was too early for EU games, so i found the korean league. The first game I ended watching was the Faker (nidalee) vs Ambition (Kha'Zix), was an SKT from that point on as they were the first team I had watched, guess I got a bit lucky. (at that time I didn't know they were ripping up the b league in korea as the sister team to the OG SKT roster prior to Faker's iteration.
