God bless all the people down south I’m from Ct I hope everything works out and no more deaths
Why don't you build concrete buildings in tornado prone areas??
Concrete doesnt stop water.
@@Tennessee968 yes.. that's true... That's why we build coastal buildings at least 3 storied.. no one lives on the ground floor... Also the ground floor has no walls for passage of water in the case of cyclones.
We along with every other homeowner hit by Hurricane Ian received zero dollars from our insurance companies for damage. They were all denied saying it was wind or water or state limit for mold is barely anything. Then our insurance rates went up $1MM and the state requires all condos to carry a certain minimum level of property insurance. It's a scam and wish we could self insure because they never payout and we are self insured anyway even thought we pay for insurance.
well you see the average insurance policy dont include hurricane damage, well in the other 45 states.
Meanwhile our government just sent another billion to Ukraine! 😂
@@joeygproducedit7863💯
Natural disasters are typically not covered by most insurance companies unless you pay an extra fee. They also increased the insurance because some people obviously got pay outs and the risk was higher.
@@joeygproducedit7863 im sure those HIMARS rockets and artillery shells, worth "another billion," that were sent to Ukraine, would save people's houses and cover the damages
I hate to say it. But stop rebuilding in hurricane alley. Need to move
For all the FL residents (I’m one) make sure you all thank Ron DeSantis and Republicans for doing absolutely NOTHING to fix FL’s insurance crisis and make sure to thank Ron twice for trining away all the federal money that was meant to help stop flooding from these storms…
We have insurance issues right here in Texas. Seems they can continue to gut the homeowners with their ridiculous prices. No one is doing anything.
🤡
It seems like it’s better to rent. Let the landlord have that headache
The headache of having you pay to insure his buildings?
@@Stunkos That’s crazy for real? I said that because it’s stressful to rebuild in some areas which were damaged before. Insurance really expensive and some people don’t have it. Oh My😞
Heartbreaking news as more than 40 lives have been tragically lost due to the widespread destruction and flooding caused by Hurricane Helene. My deepest condolences go out to the families and communities affected by this devastating disaster-praying for strength and recovery for all those impacted
My distrust of America's media is so bad that I will no longer watch anything on any network. I am definitely interested in things like this, but I won't sacrifice my instincts.
WOW. I haven't even been paying attention I'm so used to hearing about hurricanes on the east coast. Had no idea it was this bad. Terrible.
If we listened to the planet and our intelligence instead of "thoughts and prayers" we would be better off.
Are you kidding me???😳 So God is obsolete to you????
How about stop being self-rightous and take that time to help those in need?
God has always been obsolete. Religion has only done harm to our society. We are stuck on a planet increasingly inhospitable to human life and we either survive or perish.
@@erikhaack4123Priests and pastors and witchdoctors can only fleece people for so long before they start to catch on.

Praying for the families of these communities 🤲🙌😢
Again, taxpayers stuck with a huge bill because people want to live on the water
NO FEDERAL AID FOR CONSERVATIVES BE A REAL CONSERVATIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And tornado alleys. And earthquake zones. And tsunami zones. And volcano zones. And flood zones. And avalanche zones. And deserts. Let's all just cram into Kentucky.
I'm surprised you can spell.
@@JOEDIRTERULEZ No federal aid for anyone. Especially Ukraine, Israel and Illegal immigrants... We just gave 16+ billion for foreign wars... where they got you looking?
Blame your Congressman
It stimulates the economy? 🤷🏽♂️
God bless these souls, losing your home is devastating, it'll be hard to recover. And condolences to the one who lost their family
“You spend you whole life living in a high risk hurricane area prone to flooding but you never think it will happen to you”
So this is your first hurricane?
“No this is the third one in the last couple years. It’s ok tho we’ll get another new house. We have insurance and Desantis will be demanding federal bailout money. Being rich is truly blessing from Jesus. The government actually takes care of you”
California loses mores from wildfires
Fun story. Insurance companies are pulling insurance and spiking rates. and ronda sandwich isnt doing anything about it
the term used by the news is" once in a life time" that should be a hint.
I feel sad for all those that have lost their homes. I am praying that the authorities will protect them from all the predators that will descend on them during this vulnerable time.
COME ON MAN when you choose to live in a state where a BUMP in the road is considered HIGH ground what would people expect, i mean how many of these have you seen IV BEEN AROUND 70 years and seen the same thing in the same areas over the decades and yet it just gets MORE POPULATED where is the sense I GUESS you really got to love the SAND, SUN and mosquito outbreaks not to mention CRIME and WAITING IN TRAFFIC JAMS NO SPANK YOU
Where do you live?
Sad situation for lots of people, but that aqua fence around the hospital was pure genius.
This is to let us know this world it not our home wether you believe in God or not we are just passing through

Planet has been changing for Billions of years and will keep on changing.
Oh no! Wish you all a speedy recovery. My condolences.❤
Insurance companies recognize climate change by leaving FL. Too bad FL GOP has banned climate change as a term in FL schools. Denial works every time. Right?😂😂😂
I don't think you know how many democrats have moved to coastal Florida...
why komala EPA cant stop storm ?
Christians are pretty dopey that way.
@@JohnnyRep-u4eclimate change doesn’t give a bugger about political or religious beliefs but it’s generally religious conservatives that are denying climate even when they are directly affected..
I'm a conservative Republican who thinks climate change is real. I don't dismiss it as a hoax. Can't say for sure that human activities contribute to it or not.
As a Virginian, we always narrowly avoid these type of disasters.
Look. You can't be sad. You live in hurricane land. You gotta have insurance and an escape plan if you're gonna stay there. It's going to happen every year or two.
Stop acting like ur so hot s*** . U don't impress noone buddy

I hate hurricane and tornado zones. Two of the scariest things ever.

Stop federally insuring coastal homes
HUH? FEMA is broke...those of us on the coast pay our insurance either through state windstorm or private homeowners. There is no federal nothing.
Well...
