This is the perfect protest to Nike for the disrespect of not promoting her properly. I'm beginning to believe that Kathy Horseface is afraid of the ego driven, self centered, me first oriented veteran players in the league. It seems evident that those snarky players would rather keep the league "status quo" like it was before Caitlin came to town. Englebert could be trying to avoid a mutiny in the players ranks with their anger aimed at her. Those players, such as A'ja Wilson would rather be the big fish in a little pond rather than have to compete for attention and accolades that they feel they already deserve. It could be that Kathy is trying to ward off a civil war within the WNBA and she does not possess the skill to navigate such a conflict. Sometimes it is easier to pretend that all is well and let the dust settle hoping that things will work itself out. I don't know. It's a shame that the WNBA has no true leader at the helm right now.

This WNBA commissioner needs to be replaced or Catlin will be 'beat' up next season and the commissioner will say nothing. Also the officiating need to be changed too. 73% of all technical fouls were against Carlin and the commissioner and front office of the league and nothing was said or any actions taken against the players that committed those flagrant fouls. If top management is not changed nothing will happen in 2025 and the 'roller derby' games will continue. Who wants to watch that?
