The Phillies are probably asking for so much in return because they still see that No. 3 overall pick value attached to him… But don’t worry, my Blue Jays will join the party soon enough and trade Vlady+ a bullpen arm and/or a prospect for Alec Bohm because that’s just the kind of guy Ross Atkins is.
On a personal note, I still can’t believe we had the perfect GM for this team with AA and we just let him walk for free, all so we could hire that idiot of a GM to come in and build a championship roster -- here we are, nine years later and nothing to show for it, and he’s STILL the GM!? What the hell are we even doing at this point.
