SOC went to the game thinking they already won without playing the game, they lost before the game started they looked flat from the jump. PNG showed them thats why you play the game, you have to stay focus, SOC could have easily ran away with it had they stayed focused and put their egos aside, PNG brought the SOC back to reality..
This was honestly a great game, so unfortunate this great game will all be focused on 1 bad call, idk if it was the wrong call or not, and I don’t know if PNG would have still won even if it wasn’t called but this game was so much more than that 1 flag.
it was the wrong call BUT it was a penalty, defensive holding vs a DPI, which is the same type of penalty, auto 1st and half the distance to the goal. So a penalty was indeed correct
The penalty they called for PNG was the same call they missed against PNG. Soc should have gotten the same type of calls earlier and this game wouldn't have been that close. The refs kept PNG in the game

It’s the coach’s job to review the ref crew. He agreed to that ref crew, and had the same access to information as anyone else. The ref in question only called one penalty all game, and it wasn’t the one everyone is whining about (which was the exact right call).
PNGs defense held SOC to 167 yards. Not 167 yards for green, not 167 yards for the half, but 167 yards for the whole game. PNG won time of possession, PNG had more rushing yards, PNG had more passing yards, PNG won the turnover battle, PNG won the kicking battle. They won every stat in the game.
