AND they brought in an A-list actor (Glenn Close) WITHOUT her turning evil by the end 😄 Really fun reaction, this movie was such a surprise when it first came out.
This is def one of the best MCU movies. Good story telling is good story telling. I feel sorry for the people who look down at MCU or Pixar movies as fluff for children. Everything doesn't have to be dark and serious to make you feel feelings.
I've had my share of feelings and tears over Pixar movies, and now I have MCU and Guardians to add to my arsenal ❤️
I agree about the "couldn't care less", but both are acceptable. "I could care less" is usually said in a sarcastic tone. It makes sense in those cases.

Good reaction. Was a really fun film.
A few scenes are improvised. Like during the scene in which Star-Lord presents the orb to The Collector and drops it, director James Gunn revealed that while he initially believed this was an accident on Chris Pratt’s part and they decided to use that take anyway, the filmmaker recently learned from the actor that this moment was actually improvised.
In response, Chris Pratt himself confirmed that he dropped the orb on purpose without asking ahead of time because it is “better to ask forgiveness than permission.” As Chris Pratt explained, he learned this lesson from his time working on Parks and Recreation, during which he damaged many things on set.

Hi Michal, good reaction to a great movie. Yes it's different compared to the other ones, but how you have said, very likable characters and an excellent soundtrack. Keep going with your MCU journey and from now on, have a tissue box ready... cu you at your next reaction.
GotG is definitely one of my absolute favourite MCU movies. I feel like if there was no MCU it would stand great completely on its own. A lot more emotional depth than you’d expect. And I agree they did a good job making you care about so many characters. Even CGI ones.

I dislike MCU so much but am a fan of this one :) just rewatched it a week ago and was better than the first time
It's not mentioned in the movie, but The Collector [Benicio Del Toro's character] is in fact immortal and slightly younger than the age of the universe, he's called The Collector because that's basically all he's done across all space and time (hence the museum) - this means that if you have something that is of interest to him, it is of *universal* importance, very literally. You will soon meet another immortal born in the same era who obsesses not over collecting but the games people play, named The Grandmaster. Also, if you enjoyed Zoe Saldaña in this sci-fi role, she's also in the Star Trek series. And the Avatar series. And the Suicide Squad series. And the Adam Project series. etc. et al. ad inf., true sci-fi royalty. 🍿❤
they're all garbage, but then again, DC isn't much better
I just wish they'd put their heart (and $) into making each film as good as the original spiderman series and dark knight 2. So far, the only thing that's top quality was wonder woman 1.
