love your reactions. very sincere and you have interesting takes on things. nice dry sense of humor and i trust when you say you havent seen something. also love the accent!
Easily my favorite sequel. Hopefully they can get at least some of this cast back for Deadpool 3, but Disney owns the IP now and seems intent on sabotaging the movie. The actress who plays Vanessa said in an interview that she wants to do the third movie, and she loves Ryan, but Disney is low-balling the hell out of her.
"Dubstep's for pussies!" "You're so dark. Are you sure you're not from the DC Universe?" Some people say that this movie is better than the original. Those people are wrong. The trope of killing a love one of the main character to start the sequel in order to jumpstart a conflict or character arc, is dumb and takes away from the "happily ever after" ending of the last movie. I get that it was subverted and lampshaded, but I felt it side-lined Vanessa unnecessarily. In the comics, Vanessa is a mutant too. Fun Fact: The footage of the X-Men closing the door was shot on the set of X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019) and sent over to the Deadpool 2 (2018) crew. Family Affair Fact; The film takes many potshots at the Barbra Streisand film Yentl (1983). Streisand is Josh Brolin's stepmother in real life. Although this fact would have been a perfect subject for another meta-joke at Brolin's expense, the makers stated on the commentary track that they completely forgot to include it, wondering how that was overlooked. Cocaine Is A Hell Of A Drug Fact: Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) removed a floorboard in Blind Al's (Leslie Uggams) house to grab one of two bags of cocaine which is next to another "cure for blindness" bag. This is a reference to the first film in which Deadpool tells Blind Al he has hidden 116 kilos of cocaine somewhere in her house right next to the cure for blindness. Cameos Cameos Fact: Brad Pitt met with the director to discuss the part of Cable, but couldn't commit due to scheduling conflicts. However, Pitt does have a small cameo in this film. Ryan Reynolds was at a dinner party with Matt Damon, pitched him the toilet paper manifesto, and asked Damon if he wanted to play the part. Damon thought it was hilarious and agreed to the cameo.
Oh Darling, you are beautiful.. this was so much fun with you!!! ♥♥♥ Gods, you are so insightful.... but lets giving you something more existential panic worthy... like ... NIMONA... i mean, if you are that brave... >.> (yes I am baiting you) .... so... do be brave... this is important to see....
The funniest, darkest and craziest superhero sequel ever made!

I think *the* moment works even better in the theatrical version, even though the only difference in the scene is not having the Celine Dion song.
Yes that was a Brad Pitt cameo and the story goes that he only asked for a coffee as his payment for the scene
actually he also said that ryan reynolds had to cameo in one of his projects. i believe that ended up being in 'bullet train'.
@willwilliamson9580 very cool but it's still a lot less than an actor of hid caliber could have demanded for a cameo
¡Bienvenida de vuelta!
Michal, my belle -- Welcome back!!!
Thanks for another great reaction. 🤗

Most are coming back except Domino, Cable and Weasel
You don't get the One Eyed Willy reference? Josh Brolin who plays Cable was in The Goonies
Don't worry, I did 😉
Deadpool 3 is gonna be part of the MCU and I know you still haven't caught up yet with that. It's coming out May 3rd 2024

Excellent reaction. Overall a worthy sequel, just find the kid a little bit annoying :D
