Bose was alive in 1947 but he didn't came forward...... If he would be there than there would be no partition in the history of INDIA.
Md. Ali Jinnah said to Mahatma Gandhi that you make Mr. Bose the Prime Minister of complete INDIA and no partition eill be held but our so called bapuji can't refuse to make Mr. Nehre the first Prime Minister.

It was only for partition that Muslim League had let hell loose by rioting across country 1942 onwards. It was because of unending riots that Gandhiji had to relent and agree for partition.
