      What's the total height of that modified tundra? And which brand 3" spacer leveling kit does your company recommend?

      Yong Kwon our house brand. We didn’t measure the exact height of the vehicle after, but they are usually about 80-81” with the 35” tires and lift.

      Hi guys! Love the videos. I had a quick question. I have a 2010 tundra with a ProComp 3inch level kit on 295/70/18. When coming off a ramp, with speed of 30mph or more my traction control & ABS kits like crazy...Making it scary to drive...Any advice to this, since I see your guys are doing alot of tundra on leveling kits on 35's...lmk, thx!

    Cool look! And for all the haters on here, if you don't have something nice to say, keep it to yourself! It's not your truck. Either it's a pavement princess or a freeway queen as someone else called it, it's still a truck! Not everyone wants to destroy their truck by off roading it! Maybe it's their only form of transportation. Plus it's a two wheel drive for that matter. Not everyone needs a 4x4! I love Tundras because I can't stand domestics. Don't trust them! This truck does just fine! Whether it's taking your significant other or spouse on a date, grocery getter, hauling motorcycles, furniture, you name it, it's a damn truck! Nice looking one too!

    tires stick out to far would give a sand blasting effect to sides of truck not to mention you could not keep the sides clean also you would have to keep your side windows shut to avoid getting dirt into your cab

    • @30smsuperstrat
      @30smsuperstrat 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I totally agree. All these trucks with their tires sticking out remind me of those early 90s imports lowered with extreme offsets or 70s rock stars with socks stuffed in their pants. All show and no go.

    I’m interested in modifying 2020 tundra limited with 275/55/20. I like minimal lifting because I prefer the wider tire & lower look. I’m wondering if 37” is doable with a no more than 3” lift. And if so, would a 37” flush out too much?

    I never understood people who get bracket/spacer lifts for 35" tires with dedicated or hybrid off-road tires. Bracket/spacer lifts (ground clearance) do not = off-roadability. The choice in tires for a bracket/spacer lift is what caught my eye, as the Toyo RT is too expensive and overkill for a lifted street truck, there's no practical point to it. It's not that I'm opposed to people doing what they want, it's that I notice people doing what they want often out of ignorance, i.e. I want to fit 35"s and go off-roading. The mechanic incorrectly recommends a bracket/spacer lift. If a person doesn't plan to do any real off-roading other than driving a dirt path to get to an off-road destination these are fine. But...front coilovers, upper control arm and rear shock upgrades is actually the best way to get the lift you need to fit 35"s while actually improving what you need to have fun off-road; the suspension. Also a lot of mechanics will have people believing they need a 6 inch lift for off-roading. Nothing could be further from the truth. More serious off-road trucks run 3 inch front and 1.5 inch lifts (from the upgraded shocks) and run 35 to 37 inch tires with appropriate sized wheels, i.e. 17" and no larger than 18" wheels for when you have to air down. I see 6", 8" lifts with 20 wheels and 35" tires with expensive off-road tread and low profile side walls. These guys either always get stuck or break something because they have a bracket/spacer lift and think because they have clearance they're rolling in a truck ready for real off-roading...face palm. So many videos confuse the difference between lifted trucks and off-road ready built trucks. Trust me there IS a difference. All truck styles are just fine, people just need appropriate information for the type of truck fun they want to have.
