Oh, your deck has a similar composition to mine, so it’s interesting. I added Chaos Dragons because I wanted to maintain the appearance of the White Dragon deck even if the deck power dropped.
As a new player, I really appreciate the blurbs explaining the moves. It greatly aids in understanding why certain lines are played over others. Thank you!
Chaos Ruler and Wyvernbuster greatly hit Dragon Link also. It would be very great that you can make a Dragon Link post banlist. Your video is great also
Hey mate, I use a very similar deck to this but I also have a Mannadium Trisukta in the extra deck, If you get a particularly good hand with a seyfert you can sometimes add a third level 10 synchro to the field. Chaos angel or chengying seem to work well.
Looking like a pretty solid list, thanks for the vid! I'm still debating on adding Chaos Valkyrie to the deck, for a light level 4 to help give Chaos Angel both protections, plus to help keep cards in the grave. Without Chaos Space though, it's probably not worth it, and Seyfert seems to fit the role well enough. Never really going to run out of options for deckbuilding, for sure.
One of the weakness of Chaos Space is it is minus 1 card (using 2 cards to get 1 card). Chaos Valkyrie alone doesnt extend into another unlike Wyverbuster (RIP), so you may need to adjust the ED more, just to accomodate it imo. Like if you have it in your hand going 1st, it can only go for IP or Chaos Angel. In the past, Chaos Space becomes Wyverbuster/Collapserpent, go for link 1 and add the other one, draw 1 from it, summon Hieratic, then add back the baby dragon. Collapserpent without Wyverbuster also feels like Chaos Valkyrie, so generally, I dont think they are good rn.
@LightDragon-DuelEnjoyer9990 All solid points, thanks for the thorough response! That Chaos Space -1 feels offset by its own draw, and to add fuel to the gy to banish. Moreso with the baby Stones of Legend in circulation, though it's all scared of Ash and less likely live without Chaos Ruler. Still fully understand not running it or Valk, they're both less powerful and less consistent now. Though to your point about Valk being limited to Angel or IP, that's all i think the deck needs, since IP grants access to both Spright Elf (for more level 2 tuners), and Underworld Goddess on the opponent's turn, all for the cost of any 3 monsters (and deciding on having Seals live or targeted protection from Elf with that EMZ). Valk helps fuel the Bystials and Chaos stuff for all those summons, but it's definitely not the card advantage+extra summon that the baby Chaos dragons were.. Definitely agree with ya that Seyfert is the better light level 4 between the two. Thanks again, and Happy New Year!
A New Years Gift, and something way out of left field: Diviner of the Herald. An uninterrupted Diviner = 2 lights and 2 darks in grave, plus whatever can be searched + summoned with an Ancient Fairy Dragon. And a bonus, Diviner doesn't need your normal, if you can get her to grave for Spright Elf. Silly card. And, just for the detail, those cards in grave are Diviner, Herald of the Arc Light, Magicians' Souls, and Illusion of Chaos. The level 6 Diviner + Magicians' Souls is AFD, and then any field spell in hand is full combo for quite a few builds. Chicken Games become Dragon Shrines become Primeval Planet Perlereino or any of the other Visas Fields, or Mausoleum of White for the more "pure" Blue-Eyes builds. There's even Ritual Sanctuary just to resummon Diviner and (slowly) recycle spells, though that's usually unnecessary. Tl;dr: Diviner's cracked. Happy New Years everyone!
After being stuck on platinum 2 for a few months, this finally got me to platinum 1. Had a hard fought Labyrnth battle in the process to get to this rank.
I really like the recursive nature of this deck, feels really smooth when it pops off and even though it doesnt put up a vomit of negates the interruptions combined with the bystials and blue eyes recursive engines and huge bodies make you outlasted the opponent, thats really cool Do you think this deck is viable with some tinkering for the upcoming synchro/link event? Specially with no Maxx C or Droll
For you what is the best tuner for blue eyes deck Asult scynchron (i think this is the name ) is expensive for me i use 2 zombie shinobi and 2 ringrow dragon 😅
For lv 2 tuners, Assault Synchron and Sharnga for this kind of deck, because they can be special summoned from the hand. If the deck can summon BEWD, I think Ringowurm is also good for Blue-Eyes. Shinobi Necro is nice as well, tho it needs Bystial to use its effect..
i just got my Accel synchron dragon from opening pack good thing i can use this and also helps in my roster.. still need practice because we need to adapt new strategies.. Edit: I was practicing dis pater and assault synchron combo, sometimes a screwed up or even interrupted hahaha if i have a missing card piece i go for accel synchron dragon to baron if lubelion is not in my graveyard yet. Is stardust dragon good to add in the roster?
I think stardust and the accel synchro stardust can both trigger assault synchron's effect. I dont think there is a slot for stardust in the current decklist, but you can see what works best for you.
@@ChaxMk2 if you have 2 assault synchron in GY, you can use its gy effect when accel synchro stardust tribute itself. Tho I feel it's a bit situational, but it sounds fun.
Why didn’t you add druisworm with magnamhut at the end phase at 1:46 ? Also wouldn’t adding chengyin be really good for this deck since you have assault synchron when you trigger him to banish it triggers chengyin… also how does deck deals with towers like purrley noir and the arrival cyberse ?
I thought/guessed Baldrake was better than Druiswurm in that game. Baldrake can banish ED monsters by tributing another light/dark. I had Hieratic link, which I thought would use its effect first to bounce and summon another light/dark dragon like BE Jet from deck. I thought I could tribute this newly summoned Light Dragon (like BE Jet) for Baldrake's cost. Didnt have space for Chengying. I think the other XYZs or link are more generic/better in most cases. And my lv 2 tuners are only 3 copies, so I dont think I can afford to synchro summon continuously each passing turn to justify more copy of lv 10 synchr0. Still, Chengying is still a great option if you miss any UR lv 10 synchro.
@@LightDragon-DuelEnjoyer9990 I’ve cut down hieratic seal from 2 to 1 and added chengyin because honestly haven’t felt the need to summon it more than once.
Hey awesome video for new players like me. I have a question about the deck. I am using a very similar deck from teamsamuraiX1's channel using the assault synchro's. I love using the dis pater combo with assault synchro however I feel like I am not able to put much on the field on turn 1 very often because there is no consistent way to get assault synchro into the hand. How is your experience in this? I saw you use the tuning spell which can add the assault synchro, but in your final deck you don't use this. Also what should I replace the 2 saronirs with since they are getting limited to 1 only? I was thinking an abyss dragon because it can get you a lubbelion at end phase.
Since the needed cards arent exactly played in many copies, not able to summon dis pater combo on turn 1 can happen. I felt Super Poly were better at that time, since I lost too many coin toss, altho I wanted to go 1st. So sacrificing some turn 1 cards was inevitable. To replace 2 Saronirs, I feel you can try either adding more Lubellion, Baldrakes, Dragon Shrine, Foolish Burial (to send Saronir+Lubellion/Branded spell), or the riskiest one, Small World.
I mention some alternative cards in the description. Just remember, if you replace Assault Synchron, you cant do Lubellion tributing Dis Pater and Assault Synchron brings it back shenanigan.
Light I have a question. Is spirit engine good in a blue-eyes deck and if so is it good for combo in? Since they don’t lock you into anything with assault Synchron you could synchro to charge warrior and with ryngowurm you banish it to summon crystal wing, or use it for rank 4 play or chaos angel line with the bystials… this just might be coping but I genuinely don’t know if spirit engine would do good, if ib gets unbanned in MD then “maybe” it would be a good investment but what is you’re insight in this 🤔.
By spirit engine, you mean sakitama and aratama? I think they can combo well with tuners for synchro or Dictator for XYZ, but they dont interact well with big Blue-Eyes. Like you know Blue-Eyes dont generally summon many monsters by themselves. But if you can get tuner / another easy lv 8 monster, the synchros /xyzs are good options to summon by using Blue-Eyes. With those spirits however, you can only link summon, and your option may be limited. If Ib get unbanned, I think there are some easy lv 4 summon monsters already, like Photon Thrasher. So lv 4 extenders arent really an issue imo. However, these spirits/lv 4 extenders may be played in other decks. Like you mention, they can combo well with tuners like ringowurm/assault synchron and with Bystial control deck. Currently they are being played in R4 decks like Exo and sometimes in Mathmech also.
@LightDragon-DuelEnjoyer9990 I run sage, assault synchron, ryngowurm, effect veiler, and stone of legend. In terms of extenders, they work really well, and as an engine, they are really underrated, like I constantly found myself making crystal wing as my end board most of the time along with dis pater, baronne, bystials and branded beast so 5 disruptions overall, but you are right on the part that they really feel weird in a Blue-Eyes deck especially since we can't search cards like mausoleum which would give us more advantage in terms of more synchro/link plays, though I definitely recommend trying testing them out in a Blue-Eyes deck. They are very fun to play in Blue-Eyes and also give you some interesting rank 4 plays like dweller or bagooska though you don't want to run aratama mainly its sakitama and nikitama (basically the green one) to make full use of the engine, we just need some good support in the form of some level 1 and 2 tuners with good effects to make full use of the sakitama engine cause honestly... I feel like we might have struck gold with this engine.
@@goblinslayer1115 There are too many situational different cards, but I think they can be fun together. Yeah, I only remember the name of Sakitama, but forgot the other one lol.
@@LightDragon-DuelEnjoyer9990 they might work in your Xyz build since you run starliege and can maybe end on dweller or the swarm cards along with photon lord and hope harbinger. Hello. Who am I to say, since you are the one in Master rank, and I am not, but what about having some more targets for Melody since you run 3 of them? Like Levianeer or Darkest diabolos, which can be SS from hand or GY if a Dark monster is tributed, and that is what Lubellion does. Are there any other ATK 3000/2500 DEF dragons suitable as Melody targets? I know Photon dragons are, but they have no synergy with BEWD. Let me know. I can say Diabolos has been putting in work for me ever since I have added him into my Synchro/xyz dragon deck.
One of the issues with adding more lv 8 Dragons is bricking issue (this can be huge since I play Blue-Eyes). Ive tried Levianeer in the past, but I felt it bricks more than it helps. Its summoning requirement feels too situational/hard at times. Same reason also applies to Darkest Diabolos. Its summon basically asking it to be in the same hand/GY as Lubellion. If you have it in your hand, and your other cards are Blue-Eyes cards, it most likely doesnt help to extend. If you have some other extenders in the deck, like assault synchron, I'm sure your melody most likely will want to add the existing 3k dragons than Diabolos. Not saying DIabolos/Levianeer are bad. They are good, but the existing 3k dragons are better currently.
