Thank you for the review. Good news about the clip: there are updates made and new ones get clips that made all complaints go away. I have an Axon and Neuron plus Fullsize Fulcrum Rhino Glow with those new clips and never had a problem
Perfectly said Chris. Joseph is pushing the needle forward with his designs and if he were to fine tune then a little more they’d be heavy hitters in all categories.
@@renegadeprovisionsco bha it’s not how often.. it’s quality.. I go months posting 2 videos .. then upload like 5 in a week sometimes 😂 it’s what time permits 🤷♂️ life happens..
Thanks Renegade. I watched this with interest. I'm also thinking about the XL and already have a Gen2. I hear about "buffing" the micarta, but I can't find what is meant by that.
Well done review! New subscriber here. Thank you so much for a review that actually feels relevant to me. As well thought out as Nick's reviews, but not talking about things from a mostly pocket jewelry perspective.
If you can get one I would 100% go for it! The clips a dealbreaker for me but 100’s upon 100’s of people are dying to get their hands on these for a reason. The knife is amazing and “if” the clip isn’t an issue for you the knife with be a complete joy to own
@@renegadeprovisionsco Ya honestly I just wanna get one in hand. I probably wouldn't carry it much, as I don't see anything kicking The Protech Malibu out of my pocket this summer.

Lol @ the shots fired towards “Nicky” 😂😂
The clip on my XL is the only reason that I don't carry it as much as my other blades. It's a problem.
Completely agree!!
Just what I needed before the drop man 👏🏽 Thank you 😀
Same thing I was thinking..
The clip on my Kershaw gets caught on everything as well.
It’s a horribly frustrating thing on a knife. Clips are make it or break it for me
Actually found the story of the pocket clip really interesting. Keep up the content!
Enjoyed your video 👍🏻👌🏻 hope more to hope about the dlc finish 😅 how the dlc is holding up.
One hell of a detailed review 👍👍. New sub and damn impressed with the videos I have seen thus far
Thank you so much!!! Appreciate the sub and the compliment!

The gen 2 would be a perfect knife if they did some internal milling and just rounded off some of the sharp corners
Everyone of my knives will open (and has) if dropped even from shoulder height.
Sir, I would LOVE to have a chance at that Synapse Gen2 when you sell it!
Theres a drop wed. Sign up for there news letter.
I think this is the same configuration I wanna get.
But the pocketclip is really making me debate trying for one.
