OMG! Imagine dreaming about translating one's design philosophy of cars with interior designing, and coming across two great women holding their fortes in both so well! Thumbs up ladies! 👍🏻
The editing in this video was amazing, especially for the portions with the Buick. I did skip most of the car stuff but the parts I watched were super cool, especially the car in the purple and yellow alley! You looked so fabulous too
The oak looks great in the entry. The car looks stunning in that alley, also the editing is really awesome with all those cherry blossoms in the background.
Hi Karin, I am SO glad I found your TH-cam channel after binge watching Restaurants on the Edge. Would you ever consider doing a mini series talking about the different features and characteristics of particular design concepts like Scandinavian, Boho, Modern Farmhouse, etc. You are so inspiring! Congrats on all of your success - it is well deserved!
Love the videos Karin, more uploads please! Just wondering was the car gifted or subsidised in any way? It seemed like an ad for the car. Nothing wrong with that but I think it would be ethical to reveal if it were. Otherwise, as someone else commented, I hope in future you can balance the oral description of design elements with the showing of the design aspect you are describing. It would also be nice to hear/see if you ever scrape some ideas close to the end of a project or do you stick with a concept after selecting it.
Hi! Yes, this was a sponsored video. Thanks for asking. Also, I love your suggestion on talking about ideas that we scrap... the ideas that get tossed out, even if they’re good ones!
Hi Karin! I'm such a huge fan and thanks for uploading. My opinion, I just think the Buick took over the video. Personally I like seeing around the office and the design team working and your motivational talks about business. Great video editing btw!
Hi Karin - Great design is everywhere and comes in all shapes, mediums and forms. Such an example is Car manufacturing and design, the car collaborations (past and present) have been interesting from a design, manufacturing and motor standpoint. It was clever how you integrated and referenced it to the physical design space featured in this project. Great job! (Love seeing it on a female led business owner's platform)🔥🚘 The project space looks amazing, another awesome, aesthetically pleasing and functional space created by the amazing HOB Team! 🔥💖👑😊
Whuu a BUICK ... VERY NICE! VERY CLASSY AND YOU LOOK SO STUNNING. AGREE 100% DESIGN MUST BE FUNCTIONAL ...TIMELESS, CLASSICAL .. love all your insight and advice and love this vlog title PARALLELS IN DESIGN. I Love Black, the muted gold and champagne colors. WOW!!! Can't wait to review the full video vlog. Karin Bohn Thank you xo
First, the amount of inspiration on this Channel and video alone, has been so much inspiration for me. Books is where I get inspiration also. Any book. Thank you for such great content and inspiration.
All of this was too delicious to not enjoy! I love how you connected interior designing with car designing, I would not have not known the connection between them, but it’s very inspirational. Also Karin I see you giving off the 1950s - 1960s vibe with your dress and shoes, classy chic. Answer to the question: I find my inspiration everywhere in everything from TH-cam to Pinterest to words that capture my attention to numbers to discern to COLORS that stand out to me.✨💙...... PS: I almost forgot to add music too.🤣
I love that - a 50’s/60’s vibe. I wasn’t thinking that when I selected the dress but now that you say that... 😊 Thanks so much for watching this episode and for sharing your inspiration!
I seek inspiration from the clients story and lifestyle they want to happen and welcoming it with beautiful and functional ideas in the same rime from nature, architecture, cultural and other's innovative creations from the past to the current❤️ I love this episode too, the creative people really have same way of thinking

An detail eye of design is a great quality of a designer just like. We all living in the world of design in different forms and discipline. I like your car and it's explanation. Everything related to you inspires all your viewers and people out there. Also the credit goes to the vedio shooting and editing, to upload such a nice vedio to us. I like the transformation of the idea 💡 to discuss the various unique design elements happening to your projects and lifestyle. Just keep sharing nice , informative, luxurious, functional and beautiful vedios. God bless ❤️
I find inspiration in my imagination, I visualize a heavenly place in my mind and through nature and I am inspired through pictures that I see around the world. The key is bringing nature within the space. I live in a small town so I have tons of magazines and Pinterest, TH-cam. Since I am unable to travel much right now. I travel through my design magazines. When I lived in Portland Oregon I worked at Home Depot for 7 years in Plumbing, Kitchen and Bath. I would see their Street of Dreams homes, put together, and found open houses as well, to see all the really cool views, in a home, in the city. When I see interior elements such as bay windows or a circular staircase: that starts from the main level and works its way down to the lower level. This staircase is hidden so it leads your eye from the front entrance of the house and to see the view to the back garden without noticing stairs . . I can then picture another space that is totally different with a similar staircase but perhaps designed in a different way. I just walk through the house in my mind and visualize what I want to see. The work is being able to learn through drawing how to use AutoCad and paint and draw and communicate what is in my mind. This last year I learned AutoCAD and this summer Revit. Then to finish all my education. I am working on getting into the Rocky MT School of ART and Design Online. I have a certificate in Interior Design from the AIO 2006 so I am set to achieving my dreams of being an Interior Designer. It has been a long road. But I have been directed and guided along the way. I am binge-watching your channel to inspire me to press forward. Each day because it will be lots of work to pull off. My Design books are opened to read on my desk that I designed. You should see my desk it is super functional for all that I do. Complete with a drafting table I can fold and put away, a corner cab for my computer set-up, and two desks for working on. Then a lot of vertical storage space to store all my materials for projects. Designing is a passion for me. Thanks for bringing it alive!!!
Love you Karin and all your videos,. When will you answer the questions you asked us to send via Instagram few weeks ago. Waiting on a construction feedback from you. Now let me enjoy this. Thank you Fiona
Such a fan of your usual content but....this a car ad? I'm confused and not into this kind of content. Maybe next time you can just keep the promo stuff separate and defined ? Maybe something like - check out my new wheels 'paid promotion'. This all seems a little false. I skipped through the video but couldn't really find any real or interesting content. P.S loving that dress
We need links to all your gorgeous clothes!
😊😊
Agreee
agree 100 percent

@@KarinBohn That's sounds amazing! As a student who just finished architecture school i would love to know your pov about these styles.
I think there are a lot of youtbuers already doing this kind of content. Karin Bohn is way beyond trends, she is creating them! :)
What a great conversation! Love how you both described the parallels between two different areas of design!
I just love these videos! And your fashion is as on point as your design style!!

This was an overload of a car advertisement. 🙈
