Here are the scores on "reject button" based on the sexes, 1 line = 1 reject button push
MEN: I I I I / I I I I / I I I I / I I I I / = 20
WOMEN: I I I I / I I I I / I I I I / I I I = 18
So based strictly on numbers of rejections, the men were the most picky, however, that being said, that tiktok guy is vastly overrepresented in the statistic, he alone was responsible for at least 5 rejections, i understand that he didn't wanna date his sister but seriously, "can't date you if you are not on tiktok" is a terrible reason to reject. completely the wrong venue for what he was looking for, clearly.
On the other hand, we got the women, who were overall less picky based on their lower number of total of rejections, however the big nosed white haired lady, like the tiktok guy, was severely overrepresented for the majority of those rejections, along with the lady who rejected the men solely based on their age.
in conclusion; the women were much less picky when it came to choosing a potential partner, and thanks to the tiktok guy, the men look worse through pure statistical facts. i know these are blind dates but some of the reasons given for rejections were beyond shallow and pedantic.
"He is too blond for me" like really, i never met a person who was shallow enough to reject a potential mate based solely on hair color.

the entire point was that a few single individuals caused the score for both groups (both men and women) to be completely skewed, pointwise. more so for the men than the women.

if we see both groups of people as a unit of 1, then that means that 1 unit got a higher score in a negative trait than the other unit did and this is only because ONE part of that ONE unit was responsible for most of the "damage". that is a 10% difference which leads the statistical evidence to a false conclusion since all it cares about are the numbers.
in other words, one guy made the entire group look 10% worse than the women, and that number is actually only that low because the women also had a representative that skewed their score and made them look bad.

But you won't be able to differentiate them just by looking at them and listening to how they think. Cancel culture, thankfully, has not come to Russia and Ukraine, so we're open-minded in terms of making jokes about other people and usually don't mean any offense. This is how it should be. Ideas of marrying later in life or not marrying at all are indeed becoming more popular among youths but that is not unique to Russia and Ukraine, it's a worldwide trend.

You have to remember that the translation isn't perfect, and these are relatively random people who signed up to be on the show, so it's naturally selecting people who are perhaps a bit more of the weirder or less typical qualities. People who are more likeable and less strict about their tastes usually already have partners or aren't as interested in going to these kinds of events.
