Why would he do that. They didn't got back together. The guy is still banging this Sonya chick and he is still trying to convince everyone that he also has other affairs (while everyone knows that he is just lying) and she has moved from banging this Anton guy into banging someone else.
It’s weird cause I have the opposite view of the guy vs these comments. I get a very egotistical vibe from this guy (I’m a Russian speaker too btw) & even at one point Sasha says ‘this is a self esteem comment’ when he’s trying to say he was always perfect in the relationship. I noticed she didn’t get to finish her sentences a lot too and got cut off when she said what he needed to work on or anything about how he did wrong.. it was strange.

Now, the preposition of, which follows the word part, is generally used for cities and countries, in order to show possession. Therefore, a "russian part of Ukrane" would mean that a territory that is currently being possessed by Ukrane is, in fact, Russian.
