Would love for this guy to end up in Miami. So much he could learn from playing in that system and being around Bam

All his downsides… must not truly be that weak if the Heat went after him. They don’t draft low motor/low work ethic guys, so I feel pretty confident in that evaluation. And then he’s not going to need to be an offensive threat besides “hit open shots, space the floor, and provide a dunking option”. A good counter to some of the huge positional length lineups present in the East (I.e. Boston, Knicks, Pacers, Sixers)

Considering he landed in Miami. If any franchise could fix his motor issues or defensive struggles, it’s definitely the Miami heat.

I think he just needs to be drafted to the right team like Miami for example cuz he could learn a lot from Bam & just the culture they have is perfect for the growth of young players imo

@@benpfeifer8192 for me i think for one, kel el ware doesnt love the game of basketball, he just in it for the paycheck and what it can get him. two i dont think kel el ware has high basketball IQ, and that could be the limiting factor. ware isnt a competitor, if the other team doesnt have a decent big center ya he can have a good night, but if they do and he has to work for it or bang , he wont put in the effort. its why you didnt see a significant improvement in college for ware.
you can contrast that to zach edey where he has improved every year drastically. it means he cares and loves basketball. zach edey is a competitor and wants to win.
so if you have motor issues in college, it might be a problem in nba as we have seen with mo bamba and jackson hayes, and even bol bol. they playing for a pay check and dont love the game. and they dont care if they win or not.
ware ceiling is a myles turner, but like myles turner isnt a great rebounder and not a great defender, even though he gets alot of blocks. as well myles turner doesnt like to get in the paint and bang with other bigs if they have to. he may end up more like being a vucevic but less offensive talent.

Some team is going to get a steal because of Ware's "percieved" motor concerns. Having a high motor won't make you a skilled player or give you great touch on offense no matter how hard you play. Effort is not a substitute for talent or skill.

i’ll play Devil‘s Advocate bigs tend to suck in the NBA. what’s his upside? he plays 1 position and a steal for anyone. Best is the fourth or fifth best player on a championship caliber team if he ends up being the next Brooke Lopez that’s about his ceiling.

@@shake6321 If you do it well you only need to play one position. As far as being the fifth best player on a championship team that still makes him a champion. You can't win it with just four players.

i dont hate Ware at all. i was just playing devils advocate.
There are 4 or 5 guys i really like more than him. as a bulls fan, i wouldnt hate if they drafted him at 11 so long as it wasnt over Ron holland or Tidjane Salaun

The clip against tominaga and Nebraska is not Ware’s fault. It’s Mgbako’s fault for not making tominaga pick up his dribble. It’s Mgbako’s gap to rotate to. Then I don’t blame ware for not trying to meet him at the rim because he’s guarding the man on the opposite wing and if he does collapse his teammate in the right corner would have to guard 2 players that are both now one pass away from tominaga now that he’s in the paint
