    I am planning a road trip from tor onto to Calgary in the coming Summer. I will be going with my wife but she does not have a driving licence. Is it too ambitious if i am the only one to drive for such a long trip? Which month is the best to start the trip? Can you give me some reference for all the stops from Toronto to Calgary? Thanks!

    • @FrankHuynh
      @FrankHuynh  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on person. I would say for an average person it’s a little bit of long drive that I personally wouldn’t want to do alone. Honestly I just took the trans Canada the whole day and tried to stop at every Costco that was about 3 hours away to fill up and break. Best month would be fall because of the colour of leaves changing and it won’t be too hot or any snow on road.

    Hi Frank, did you carry any separate GPS/Navigation system ? Were you getting strong signals for Google Maps from your provider ? What would you recommend , we are planning to move to Calgary in August end. (with a baby :) )

    • @FrankHuynh
      @FrankHuynh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey! Just used Google maps on my phone - the periods where there were no signal is super short so I wouldn’t be too concern about that. There’s offline map download too I think!

    Hello there! Im planning to do a long drive from Toronto to Saskatoon. I am just curious what route did you use, and where are the points you stopped for rest/gasoline.
    I am a solo female, so Infos about safest rest stops would really help! Thanksss!!! ✨✨✨

      Not sure if you've already taken your trip, but the 2 of us drove from Toronto to Edmonton and split driving. Our first leg was to Thunder Bay, and we stayed at Days Inn and Suites by Wyndham Thunder Bay. This is a 15hr drive, if you're driving alone you may want to stop at Sault St Marie like the vid suggests. As far as gas stations, they pop up pretty often and signs will tell you. Second leg we drove another 15hrs to Moose Jaw and was a very plain drive. Less gas stations, and they may look like they're closed when they're not (just no heavy traffic) so we filled up basically every time it got close to half.
