I was going through the photographs of my younger sister that died in 2017. Then I just randomly skipped through songs on TH-cam with nothing particular in mind and somehow I ended up here.
My sis was my friend. She relied on me. Asked advice from me.
What was initially a stinging pain that felt like I was dying for the sense of loss is now a placid, deep, dark lake of emotions and melancholy.

Steve Harley actually wrote this song whilst he was on a plane from Los Angeles to the UK, & said he was lazy writing it!!! I just ADORE this so much. I used to see them in the 70's, I was a teenager, Make me smile was famous at the time & loved it. xx
I saw Steve Harley yesterday in Groningen and he played this song and it was just so beautiful. The lyrics mean so much to me and the whole song is just brilliant.
