I thank God for not answering my prayers. Now, I realized that most of those prayers were very selfish. I lost almost everything in this season of my life. Now, after giving up my own will, I realize that God was protecting me from harm, danger, including a lot of relationships, situations, and interactions that meant me no good. I have decided to isolate myself from the world. It is me and God I am no longer living in darkness. This elevation is painful, yet I feel all the chains of being in bondage breaking off.
I just wrote God a LONG letter last night in full authenticity, about how frustrated I have been, especially with not fully understanding the relationship between Him and I and feeling like our communication is off. I finally expressed that I was frustrated with Him for not communicating with me the way I felt He should be. I asked Him to help me hear clearly. I poured my heart out in my letter. And I woke up this morning and just praised Him. I slept eight hours straight, almost to the minute. I don't know the last time I slept eight hours straight. Last week was not my week. I literally spent my morning driving to the gym on Thursday SCREAMING & CRYING at God abt how frustrated I was with Him & with life. Bishop TD Jakes also confirmed this with his message Sunday "Prayer Partners". All these promises He's made to me & not seeing any of them come to fruition.. it wears you down. But just as He sent his angels to encamp around Jesus in the wilderness with the beasts.. He will/is do/doing the same thing for us. It's resilience training season. This morning my bible study was James 1:12 "those who stand firm during testing are blessed. They are tried & true. They will receive the life God has promised to those who love Him as their reward".. hang in there everyone, including me.

ThIS is REAL. The bible says "hope deferred makes the heart sick..." And that is REAL. I too was so disappointed in not receiving the answers to a prayer. I felt I did EVERYTHING I knew to do but God did not answer this prayer and I felt that is the time I started to pull back spiritually.
