Hello, just a quick note of thanks for this video. I have a 2016 Z51 in Night Race Blue with factory silver painted wheels. I purchased the same 1/18 scale that you used for the video. Using your instructions I was easily able to paint the wheels to match perfectly. So now I have a lifesize Vette and a scale version that is a very close match! Thanks again good job on the video!
The door panels are easy to take off, get a small flat head screwdriver and wedge it carefully in the corners til it pops out. There are two metal dial pins typically on the door itself.
Do you have a video on how to loosen the Phillips screws on a 1:18 scale RC ERTL diecast model? I want to take the floor panel off so I can get to the interior and repaint the seats. Thank you!

u can remove the door panels by using a small flat head screwdriver and placing the head betwen the the edge of the door panels and the the door itself and and twist the screwdriver and pry in an upward direction and they'll come off
I have the same corvette but I turned it into a Michigan State police car. Broke the whold car bown. Replaced the wheels. Added a push bar and take down lights decals.

I was planning on using adhesion promoter then right to silver. Do I need to spray the wheels white first or just paint right over the black? Thanks.

I'm thinking I may do a build with my Corvette Stingray, what I'm thinking is I kinda build a widebody kit for it then get wheel spacers and pretty much customize it to where it looks like a C7R

Ive been working on customizing my 1:18 maisto gallardo. I can't get the wheel to separate from the caliper and the axel, its a different setup than the stingray you featured. Any help would be appreciated thanks

I am literally working on one right now lol Its my old Diablo from the 90s that was all fucked up, just finished completely sanding it down to bare metal, deciding on what color to paint it. Already made a splitters for the front and sides, going to make a spoiler as well.

The taping and pulling apart the car, pretty good, but the kind of paint you could get better for a couple of dollars more

Didn't require dismantling. But the end result was very good.
