Hahahaha...she has her moments doesn't she. LOL. The weather is a bit nicer now, so I'll have my helper back. As long as it doesn't get too cold too quick.
Hahahahaha....well we have made it through the tough times raising three and survived with our humor still intact. We figure the difference between a bad day and a good day is the way its approached. Thank you for the fun comment.
that's red cedar 😊😊 it is just as pretty as it looks and it also smells great the old people many years ago use 2 use around the holidays I can remember this when I was a kid it's great 😊😊 OMG 9 1O 2O24
We kept sewn bags of cedar sawdust from our sawmill back home in the bottom of our closets when I was a kid. All our closets now are lined in tongue and grooved red cear with no finish on it.
Another enjoyable video. Of course all videos with The Missus are enjoyable. Come to think of it if you take time to make a video it's enjoyable. Thanks.
That’s some real nice cedar. We don’t have that red cedar up here. Too bad for the ant holes. Good job and I enjoyed both of uses a working together…..CHEERS
She really likes sawing with the bandsaw, but the weather has got to be 'just right'. We have plenty cedar to saw with lots more on the way so its ok to sometimes have a few bad spots. More good than bad though is preferrable.
He had a couple cedars and a good size oak taken out by Fricke to level off a spot for a new shed. I gotta get back to Dan's soon but the work load has been a bit tough.
Love your videos!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Question, Is there a way to set up an advice call with you? It’s ductwork related question :). Thank you.
Would you go ahead and give me an idea of just what kind of specific question you have. We may be able to solve it pretty easily. If not, I'm sure we can figure out something to get you going in the right direction.
Thank you! Here is the plot : After unproductive conversations with our AC company, I’ve disconnected the supply air plenum from the unit which wasn’t installed properly. 1 inch gaps in each corner that were covered with tape and eventually created too much condensation for the mold to grow. I’ve purchased a new plenum which is prefabricated and insulated but I’m uncertain how to connect it for an airtight fitting. Reviewing your videos clearly highlighting your level of precision and the mediocrity ( I’m being very generous) of our current installation.
It’s plum fun watching that sawmill do its job on that cedar! Even more fun when The Baroness and TM 44 are there together! Nothing like a Good CuppaJO a tippin away watching The Duo44 in action making boards, defying ants and smellin all pretty like! There won’t be a moth within miles. Red cedar is a wood that you wouldn’t think carpenter ants would want for wood wouldn’t ya? Oh yes, I plum forgot those answers to my feeble jokes that you’re dying to find out about because your swearing it out with brains over loading in wonderment, eh? I may not have them in order cuz I was out of plum just coming out of a trip from the dreamland with visions of JObeans dancing in my head and my hand twitching with JOcup motions and slobbering with that rich full tasty Lovelyness of that ultimate nectar known through out the Universe, as seen on tv, in space preferred over Tang, and a staple of mental balance and wakefulness worldwide, used by operators standing by, sold in stores and peopke hurrying to buy before midnight tomorrow! Now what was I saying? Oh yes, answers to my lame jokes. Okay here they are fer sure this time: A bunch of crows stuck together is called VelCrow! What do you do when a pharmacist comes to you door? You in vitamin! Why are the two melons getting married? Because they cantaloupe! Now with these mysteries solved I’m sippin and tippin and on to the next missed TM44 adventure vid that I missed! Signing over to the next notch! Squeezez Pkeezez! ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️❤️🎸🪕🐓🍔🥓🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🐦⬛🐦⬛🐦⬛🐦⬛🐦⬛☕️☕️☕️
Hahahahaha...DaveyJO, you never fail to bring a smile my friend. The Missus says you are quite the smooth talker. I do enjoy sawing cedar as well. But guess what, just yesterday I got about 7 small to mid sassafras logs. I cut 'em all 8'6". That stuff saws better and easier than cedar. Looks pretty too. We cut 6 tandem loads of oak, hickory and a little elm in addition to the Sassy frass. Man it was only 9 miles away right down my own two lane blacktop too !! I didn't have time to make a video, but I did get enough with the cell phone to make a tic tok though. We ain't no closer to getting caught up yet either. LOL. Take care ol' buddy and I'll see ya later DaveyJO
I loved seeing the misses helping and her commentary. Too bad about the log. You just never know right. Great video. Have a great week you guys
Good Morning my friend and thank you for watching. We gotta take the bad with all the good don't we. You and yours have a bountiful week as well.
Enjoy the missus on the commentary. Thxs for the vids!
Hahahaha...she has her moments doesn't she. LOL. The weather is a bit nicer now, so I'll have my helper back. As long as it doesn't get too cold too quick.
This is what I call "Togetherness".
Hahahahaha....She enjoys milling but the weather has got to be within her parameters. LOL
Keep Up Your Husband and Wife Team Work : ) Cheers
Good morning mon ami !! Its always a surprise when I hear from you. Life IS busy isn't it. I'm assuming you are still waaaaaay up north yet..?
The misses is a real trooper. At least you didn't need the grapple to move the log around. Thanks for the video!
That's the good thing about cedar. It's so light compared to oak, ash and hickory. AND...it saws so easily too.
It's a shame the rot was hidden, however it was nice to see you both out enjoying the sunshine together 😎👍
Sorry Zane for missing your comment. Yeah, with sawing, ya just gotta take the bad with the good. (-:
You two are having too much fun!

Well heck Tony, thank YOU for stopping in and leaving a comment my friend.
Cool video mr. And mrs. T man.
Now that the weather is turning a bit more mild, I'll have my 'helper' back more often.
Looks nice. Did not know you cut cedar at Guss's, I did see where you cut some loads at Dan's (at the old farm).
He had a couple cedars and a good size oak taken out by Fricke to level off a spot for a new shed. I gotta get back to Dan's soon but the work load has been a bit tough.
😃
It was a good afternoon....Damn ants though. LOL
I agree a circle saw waste a lot by turning it into sawdust. Better to saw cedar on a band mill
Yessir. But there's just something cool about a big ol' dangerous blade three feet in front of you while you work. LOL
👍
Thanks for watching Carl.... Come back again.

Hey !! You snuck by once again !! LOL. Have a relaxing evening my friend.
Them dang ants lol they can ruin a log sometimes that one looks not so bad
Oh man, I Alaskan milled a 36" oak last year that was filled with ants and it made some pretty neat looking planks. I cut them 3'' thick IIRC.
