this looks a clickbait thing because now we have the new SM7dB and makes no sense to make this video so 2016. Sorry for the honest. SM7B 399$ + 100$ booster. SM7dB new 499$ booster internally.
Not everywhere in the world! in the EU, you pay around 550€ for the SM7dB and only 350€ for the SM7b + 60€ for the Triton = You save a lot of money :) It is not clickbait, it's just for people who want to know if they can use the two together
@@floriangladisspeaking facts. Even though getting sm7db is tempting, just by calculating everything, sm7b would be better option. Like you get sm7b + fethead and it will be cheaper than sm7db AND if you want to use some other mic you would be able to use fethead for it if needed. 👍🏻
you can also buy used no point to buy new at all, i can get a sealed sm7b on mecari for 270 and a fethead for about 50 both trusted audio sellers and spend way less then getting a sm7db
So as far as I understand I need to activate v48 for it to work. for trilton audiofathead? I have Elgato Wave XLR and mic shure sm7b.
sorry for my late reply! I dont always see every comment for some reason.
Yes, from my understanding the audio fethead needs phantom power to work.

Yeah, you should listen to that new Shure SM7dB and when gain boost is on the noise floor sucks...
