Theres only two calls Black for False call and anyone who does step forward is on his side and have to catch all the rest of the players but with him in charge, he is the only one who can make the calls. White for a call where all player on the perimeter have to run through him until the other perimeter. When this happens the first player who was caught becomes the chaser and caller for the next round
@@walterwhite415 Yup, pretty high risk of injury indeed (as seen in some of the last years' chases). But there really is not much to do about it without harming the sport. Obviously, if this was olympics or something, there would be mandatory safety gear (helmets, knee and elbow pads and maybe even some more) worn by everyone - but the athletes themselves have already said that such measures would only restrict their movement, so I really hope nothing like that is going to happen. I guess over time this will just come down to a survival of the fittest. Rough but totally fair game.

it's technically mixed gender! haha, but no female teams yet! i really think that would bring even more attention to the sport so start training and try to join :)
We played this a lot before and after school 4th thru 6th grade. Only we were allowed to run and unfreeze your team mate. Last one tagged was the next chaser. Oh the fun we had in the 70's.
Hope this game will become worldwide and eventually make it here in Phillipines, this is very exciting to watch and we love friendly competitions here!
First time watching this and I am loving it, It's probably the first sports game that gets me excited and the first time in years I am thankful for youtube for recommending me this.
Now THIS is a real sport. NO convoluted rules (cough American football cough). NO stalling or time-wasting. NO fighting or mauling each other. And actual SPORTSMANSHIP!
Love watching these videos, I personally find the red light (when tagged) or green light (when evading) a little bit distracting when watching these videos. Maybe having some other indicator would be better. Just my opinion.
@@WorldChaseTag I was thinking somewhere on the bottom part of the screen have an animated 'tagged' (red box) or 'evaded' (green box) appear. Similar when in NFL there's a flag on the field or if there's a touchdown.
Yeah, I get that feeling too. Although if they are actually changing the floodlights in the room, it might be a cool visual cue for those watching live.
Actually that should be: "WHY are they're trying to bring esports into the olympics?" it should be Tag. This definitely should be in the Olympics. As for e"sports" bowling and billiards would probably enter first before a esports made it through as an event.
boy if you told me this shit was going to be a thing when i was a kid i would look at you if you had 3 heads. lol. We just don't know what to do with ourselves. lol
I'm like 90kg I have great acceleration and speed but this event is only for players who have small bodies that can move eazier and faster can I participate 😢
Size usually equates to power which as you say is great for speed and acceleration. In many sports many sports that's usually a good thing, but in competitive tag the ability to also break or change direction is also very important. So it's a trade off: on the one hand size, power and speed are all good, but at some point (which differs depending on the athlete) the increase mass reduces the breaking and agility and the increase in speed and acceleration is negated.
Imagine loving tag in school so much in school you go out of your way to find it as a sport. Was quite entertaining though I must admit. At least more than I thought before clicking.
