please tell me, would you recommend the same ratio of 1:1:6 (Portland Cement, Masonry Cement Type S, Sand) for other types of natural stone like sandstone, granite, etc. ?
Yes. I have personally done stonework with each of these types of rock and used the exact same ratio. One example is a granite pillar which has been holding up our cabin for the last 10 years…same exact ratio of mortar, solid as a rock. Pun intended. 😊
