Sounds of Deaf Koel - Into the Cloud of Unknowing

I wrote this track as a kind of experiment. The idea was to record piano, but without any reference to the click track or any specific tempo-just an unstructured piano improvisation. Then, I used this piano track and layered it multiple times, but with a lot of different processing. So, basically, it is the same piano responsible for all the sounds you can hear (apart from maybe some synth to fill up the space, although they use the same piano recording as input). What came out of it is quite an intense (at some points) ambient track, which I hope captured what I love about nature and things like clouds in the wind or flowing water-it has a structure, but an unpredictable and always changing one.
It is also because of this idea that I made my first patch in TouchDesigner. I wanted to give the visuals the same sense of unpredictability and structurelessness as the music.
I hope this new composition will bring you some pleasure, calm, or contemplative atmosphere even in its more intense moments.
