I used a cypress to demonstrate how I make a spiral form. It’s really not as hard as it looks. Practice makes perfect. Give it a go as you’ll only get better at it the more you do it. #topiary
Keeping the tree trimmed in the top to stop it from growing upwards. These can be planted in the ground to zone 5. In a pot they wouldn’t survive outside unless it was zone 7 or higher

true but when it starts to get mature then it may be too late to trim parts out without leaving big gaps.
