Good word. I disobeyed God for so long. It was heart breaking. When God calls you to apologize just do it. Don’t make mentors an idol. My mentor said not to apologize and now I regret it with my entire life. It’s too late.
@soy.ingrid Permit me to encourage you here...please don't believe that it is too late for you. God convicts us and not condemn, so the deep regret you have/feel is perhaps God’s loving godly sorrow about the circumstance, which He wants you to embrace but not stay stuck in regret, rather, embrace and move you/lead you to the beauty of repentance. Perhaps you need to deeply forgive yourself and your mentor in order to break free and reclaim the truth that your life is still full of godly purpose to be achieved. It is not too late for you. Please forgive yourself and ask God to help you renew and reset your thoughts about your life, past, present, and future. We all make mistakes, we all mess up, we all fail from time to time BUT we can allow God to turn all of it around for the good of us because we love Him and we are called, you are called, according to His purpose. I hope I have not overstepped my boundaries in sharing this with you. If so, I apologize. It's just that I am still going through my healing process from being deeply hurt by a mentor, one who I know loves God and has an amazing call on their life. However, the truth is I regarded the person as perfect, so my circumstance arose I was then perfectly hurt...but God used it to adjust my focus/spiritual lens and my reliance on HIM as my source of everything. Again, be encouraged. If Jesus went after Peter to restore him after he denied Him, and if in the midst of suffering and dying, Jesus reached out to the thief on the cross next to Him, it is not too late for you.
Gideon was young in the call. You don't see much of any of those in Scripture who've walked with God for some time throwing out fleeces. So I believe God gives grace to newer younger believers in the faith, but not for those who've matured and/or walked with Him for some time. God bless everyone!
If the BOC was in proper community relationships confessing faults one to another ( instead of living in cyberspace isolation) they wouldnt be walking in or trapped in disobedience as each one would be watching over one another...as in a FAMILY!!!
The example of Gideon is not a good one. You need to consider that Gideon was not following and serving God. God was gracious to him and gave him space to rebuild his faith. In fact, Gideon was so weak in his faith that in his later years he ended up going back to idols. However, God accomplished His purpose in spite of Gideon. The same can be said of Samson who violated his Nazarite vow. King Saul's disobedience would be a good example. He tried to do the will of God but he had no foundation and training in the way of God.
So GOOD!! Seeking wise counsel is one thing. Seeking approval and affirmation is another. ❤
Much needed ❤ Thank you!

Hello from Houston, TX!
We have a saying here in American church: delayed obedience is disobedience
Consider Jonah as a good subject for disobedience
No sign would be given to the Adulterous generation other than the sign of the ProphetJonah
If the BOC was in proper community relationships confessing faults one to another ( instead of living in cyberspace isolation) they wouldnt be walking in or trapped in disobedience as each one would be watching over one another...as in a FAMILY!!!
How about when Moses keeps disobeying God until God decides to use Aaron as the spokesman. God's anger burned against Mose's disobedience
Delayed obedience or disobedience?
That’s the point here… when does it become disobedience? 🙏 generally speaking we need to be obedient straight away.
Then you have Jeremiah who complains that he is a child
...and look at the historical events of Jeremiah's life a walking living breathing biblical history lesson for over 2 millenia...
..this ministry is good and very busy with teaching travelling and outreach..but...when are these prophets gonna go deeper!!!
