    My car wasn’t a year old when the panels came loose.I cleaned the glue off drilled small hole in the flat areas then spray glue on panel and leather with glue.after 10 minutes put precut leather on the panel.Problem solved.

    When these came out they were the fastest car under $20000 with the 5 speed manual. They are as fast as a 65 Shelby gt350 or 67 gt 390 running low 15s in the quarter and classic style and one wheel peel just like the classics. It is all about how the car makes you feel and mine puts a smile on my face every time. I think the only Mustang that looks better are the original 60s.

    Thanks ! Very good and descriptive video. This has been a car I’ve wanted since I was 18 I’m 21 now Been going back and forward with my mom about the fact these are still very good reliable cars despite a few flaws ofc. Have had an 2018 Honda Civic for ab a year now with her co signed on it I’m itching for one of these in my own name tryna take the more independent route now that I’m older would one of these be perfect for a 21 year old low mileage?

    • @SVTEvan
      @SVTEvan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They’re good cars and very reliable. Might be hard to find one with lower mileage since they’re getting older. But, don’t let that stop you. There’s always some out there for good deals. I’d say find one at a local dealership and go for a test drive. If you enjoy it, then start searching for the one you want!

    Hey man I’m looking to get a V6 Mustang but idk what a good price is for like 120,000. Miles

    I’d love a V6 as a daily. I have a GT for the weekend. But for the price I paid and reliability, can’t beat my 04 Grand Marquis as a daily. I paid $4500 with 48k.

    • @SVTEvan
      @SVTEvan  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice deal you got! Agreed, the v6 makes for a fun daily.

    These cars have 3.31 final drive gears.
    And they really are a great affordable fun daily driver. I bought mine because I wanted a fun daily that didn't break the bank😁 I do manage even with my 5 speed & 4.10 gears to get 24-26mpg (sometimes almost 28) but it's really pretty good if your drive is mostly highway. I actually had a GT before getting my 4.0 and I'll just say that 80 HP doesn't change your life LOL
    I think one thing you are missing out on is how much more fun and responsive the 5 speed stick cars are vs. the autos it's really a different driving experience IMO👍
    Good review though😎

    • @SVTEvan
      @SVTEvan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Totally agree that the 5 speed would drastically change the driving experience. The auto is just downright clunky and almost unresponsive when going from a high gear to full throttle. Appreciate the added information and kind words Tom! 🤘🏻

      I'm always using the O/D OFF button when in town, car seems to stay in gear longer and obviously holds you in 4th, more fun for driving under highway cruising speed considering you're not stuck in an overdrive gear , and if you're like me you're gonna use the 1, 2, 3 ratchet shifter function when you actually wanna use your rpms ( significantly more fun )

      just know that our 5r55s is designed to and meant to be able to up shift in that way, however it is NOT meant to be used to downshift ( can't say I don't lol ) but it can raise trans Temps to 175° F within seconds without superior transmission cooling

    Hey man I have a 2005-2009 mustang 5 speed v6 when I accelerate from like 1500rpm to 200rpm there is a slight high pitch would you have any idea what this could be it can be annoying also there is some vibration could that be from the exaust car has 114k miles.

    • @SVTEvan
      @SVTEvan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s hard to say since I can’t actually hear the sound. If you have a video of the sound, message me on IG (@svt_evan) and I’ll try to help figure it out. Your exhaust wouldn’t typically make a high pitch sound unless it was rubbing on something. But even then, it wouldn’t likely be RPM dependent.
      Since it’s a 5 speed, my initial thought would be the clutch/TOB. But I could be totally wrong.

    Really debating if I want to get wheels for my 4.0 or save for a 4.6. I’ll send a pic of the wheels in the discord!!!

    • @SVTEvan
      @SVTEvan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’d say get some wheels because it’ll change how the car looks/handles/performs. Plus you can always keep them for whenever you get a 4.6 💪🏻

    Did you beat a new edge GT bro or a v6 in that clip

    • @SVTEvan
      @SVTEvan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That was a full bolt on 3.8 v6. A new edge gt would have likely beat me pretty good.

      I meant more so the torque is not very present in the higher rpms compared to a coyote that revs to 7,000+ rpms. The sweet spot for these 4.0’s is right around 2,500-4,500 rpms.

    Can't be a review without popping hood, showing engine bay and talk about engine.

      It’s a 2005 v6. Absolutely nothing special under the hood.
