      no, it's not. I've never had PRP, yet i had great result.
      Transplant doesn't need anything but well executed work.

    Hi Rolandas! Thanks for another awesome video! I've noticed that you've placed a few links to various products in the description. Which regimen do you currently follow? Oral / Topical / etc ?
    I'm a bit concerned because my HT surgeon told me not to take anything other than Biotin (which is essentially a vitamin). It has nothing to do with me medically - I think he is just anti-medication. I'm at 10 months post HT and my results are decent. However, the transplanted area is not as dense as I feel it could have been. At 10 months I'm still having to use Dermatch to conceal the thin hair if I go out somewhere noticeable (for eg a wedding). I'm 35 yrs old, and although my hair loss was pretty stable by the time I had my HT, I'm worried that I may lose more if I don't get onto a medical regimen. Thank you so much again for your videos!

    • @Tom_77777
      @Tom_77777 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your HT surgeon gave you awful advice, Fin and Minoxidil are the minimum you should be using, whether that is topically or orally.
      Biotin will do nothing to prevent MBP, to be honest it won’t do anything unless you are deficient in Biotin which is very rare.

    • @MrRolandas
      @MrRolandas  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm on oral fin + oral min.
      Your surgeon isn't the brightest (unless he is deliberately trying you to lose more hair, so you become a repeat customer for HT).
      The topic of biotin & hair loss has been discussed everywhere to death. It does nothing for MPB. One of the biggest scams designed to promote sales.

    Yo i know u once discussed in a video on why zarew doesnt use magnification, intecently saw a yt video of him on bulgarian tv, where he used maginfication, but the vid is 8years old. I assume he developed his extraction method later and doesnt need it now. What u think?

    I know you prefer finasteride/dutasteride, but if you had to pick an antiandrogen, which would you pick? I see you mention Eucapil here, what about RU58841 or Pyrilutamide or any others?

    • @MrRolandas
      @MrRolandas  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd start with topical estradiol, alfatradiol. Only because it's available from legit sources. It's not super potent, but definitely better than nothing.
      Fluridil would be my 2nd choice for the same reason.
      Not a fan of experimentals that you have no idea what and where from you're getting, not to mention we don't know potentail sides short/medium/long term they might cause. It's all mostly hype with no data.

    • @MrRolandas
      @MrRolandas  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not using these as they're far less powerful compared to finasteride and minoxidil. They're working on a different way, by attaching yo 5ar on scalp and not letting dht to attach to it, so your hair follicles won't be miniaturising. Again, they're not great compared to standard meds, but better than nothing!

    Why people get a transplant without taking fin/dutasteride is beyond me

    • @MrRolandas

      Nobody told them that's the right way of doing it. Nowadays clinics just want your money

    • @bevnae
      @bevnae 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because minoxidil rapidly ages skin and finasteride, for many, irreversibly downregulates endogenous steroid synthesis. These are phenomenal sacrifices to make, and that’s coming from someone who highly values hair. Not ignoring the fact that you have to take these daily (or even multiple applications a day) for the rest of your entire life. There’s no denying these compounds work, but there’s also no denying that it’s a phenomenal sacrifice. To make a comment like ‘it’s beyond me why people don’t take fin’ is often coming from people who don’t understand how these powerful chemicals affect the human body.

    • @DreadMaximus
      @DreadMaximus 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bevnae I said it’s beyond me why people GET A TRANSPLANT without taking fin.
      So what you rambled on about has nothing to do with what I said and it’s not backed up by science. Show me where minoxidil ages your skin, give me a study.
      As for taking them daily. So? Do you brush your teeth daily? It takes nothing to take one pill daily.

    • @DreadMaximus
      @DreadMaximus 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bevnae you might of been aware but what you said doesn’t align with my argument. Don’t take fin if you don’t want but anyone getting a transplant without it is an idiot or ignorant.
      RU is total bullshit. You have no clue what you are getting and there’s a reason why the patent was dropped.
      Once again I said the equivalent of taking one pill a day to the effect of brushing one’s teeth. Didn’t say anything about topical minoxidil which you really don’t have an argument for not taking since you are inquiring about RU. So your annoyance argument is null and void.
      I’ll take a look at the minoxidil study
