Emineim needs to put him on a track and video
The shaker sound is a snare drum upside down. What makes the sharp noise for a snare drum are these metal wires that are strung usually tight against the bottom of the snare. He's using it as a shaker. He's got like 3 different snares he's using in this video. He's an alien!!
Yo, it's an upside-down snare drum, there's chains on the bottom , makes the "snare" sound, sorry can't remember the technical name
The awesomeness is in the great respect of the song. It’s not just about showing off, is about loving music.
That side drum with the 3rd peddle is a snare from the look of it. He's just got it rigged so he can hit it with a what would normally be a bass drum mallet.
He also has a double pedal that can be operated with one foot where there's a beat when his foot goes down and another when his foot comes up. It's generally frowned upon by the drumming community, but he's unorthodox af and awesome for it.
I've heard and read that rapping is much like using one's vocals/mouth etc as a percussion instrument (and some notation that's been used has also been the same used for drumming.)
5:00 so true. I think a lot of people can't tell the difference between talent and skill. I'm glad you made that distinction.
the John Wick of drums
El ES Sib is the best drummer out there
EES practices at least 8 hours a day, and he practiced for 20 days for this song. Jorge, (EES), is actual GOAT. check his subs on YT. check his videos. his covers are awesome. and after several years he finally has a band of his own, named the cost. pls check that as well, but no crazy stuff there, just music. but its really neat.
Hey, man. Thanks for the reaction. Estepario is using an upside-down drum and he's rubbing the stick against the plastic material.
It's an upside-down snare drum. He is rattling his stick against the springs.
amazing to think he is using 3 snare drums in this track 1 normal position 1 upside down with the Metal snare no facing him and a detuned snare drum on its side for use with the kick pedal and to cap it all off he is doing 16's on the clap stack with 2 sticks in 1 hand.. just amazing changing the way people view drumming.
Good request!
He's using a duelist single petal
It's the bottom of the snare..
Loved your reaction! You gotta react to Lazarus new freestyle with DJ Whoo Kid on Shade 45. Just hit over 1 million views. It’s insane!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥😮😮😮
Here is a good one! Haley Reinhart and PostModern Jukebox covering "Don't Speak" by No Doubt. (60's Style Cover)

Could you do a reaction to a real old song, "Reflections of My Life, by Marmalade?
You have to listen to the drum cover man.
Bro's never heard real instruments before. lmao
This is how eminem raps. Like a drum beat.
