I often wonder if I'll be "the man in 119 (who) takes his tea all alone". But you know what? If that's what inspired this masterpiece, then I won't complain. There are a handful of absolutely perfect songs. I have yet to be convinced there is one more perfect than this.
agreed; i have no complaints of her performance in front of the orchestra at Lincoln Center last month. But in a perfect world, I would have heard this. This is heavenly.
