There are hardly any family farms left in North America for the next generation to continue with. It’s all corporate and that ain’t good for the soil, the environment, or the consumer.
Everyone keep preparing for the effect of global warming/ climate change..but the main causes keep going the 3 great polluters country don't care anymore.... please don't choose extension😢.
Christmas and the climate crisis intersect in several ways, emphasizing the need for sustainable celebrations to reduce environmental impact. Here are key points to consider: 1. Consumerism and Waste High consumption: The holiday season often leads to increased buying, packaging waste, and discarded goods. Landfill contributions: Wrapping paper, decorations, and unwanted gifts significantly add to landfill waste. 2. Energy Consumption Decorations: Christmas lights increase electricity demand. Opting for LED lights or limiting display times can help reduce energy use. Travel: Holiday travel (flights, road trips) contributes to carbon emissions. 3. Tree Choices Real vs. Artificial: Real trees, if sourced sustainably and composted, are often more eco-friendly than artificial trees, which are made from plastic and have a higher carbon footprint during manufacturing and shipping. 4. Food Waste Over-purchasing during festive meals contributes to food waste. Planning meals carefully and donating excess food can minimize waste. Solutions for a Sustainable Christmas: 1. Gifts: Choose meaningful, durable, or second-hand gifts; consider digital options. 2. Decorations: Reuse existing decorations and avoid single-use plastics. 3. Local Shopping: Support local producers to reduce transportation emissions. 4. Charitable Giving: Donate to environmental causes instead of overindulging in material gifts. 5. Offset Carbon Footprint: If traveling, consider carbon offset programs. Would you like suggestions for eco-friendly gift ideas or practices?
So after we have caused so much devastation to our host planet through wars, etc, what and who are we planning on ruling in the area that has been destroyed ?

I dont bother with such celebrations anymore. I rather enjoy looking after nature.

The higher Temperature is allowing a greater water capacity in the atmosphere, that means heavier rain.
depends on where you are. Wet places get floods. Dry places get droughts.
Solution is simple: reforest the world with native and non native edible trees. There’s certain “non people” that continue to make it difficult
Just two girls one cup, shook the world.
There is no such thing as a stable climate. Be afraid everyone. Be very afraid
Thank you. i hope many read your comment n take it seriously.
Actually the climate became stable about 10000 years ago. When humans started agriculture. And because of this civilisation was born.
the natural CO2 emission rate is 12 gigatons per 200 years. We are doing 1000 to 5000 gigatons in 200 years.
