Thank you so much for taking the time and asking this question. I cut the video very short and skipped that part which I should have left. I rearrange the drum groove to what it originally sounded so I did not use the exact loop the way they had recorded.

What cables do you use to connect your turntable to your Key 37?
Im on the fence with buying this. I have yet to see anyone sample, for example, say 1 or 2 seconds of a piano or bass from a record. And then assign it to the keys, rather than the pads. So you can have the full range of notes/semitones from the record sample. Not from the sound kits that are included. Do you know if this is possible on this machine?
Just to be clear, are you taking audio directly into the akai and capturing it on the device? Thanks

Hey brotha, thank you so much for the love and support, 🫡. I feel much better on my hardware when it comes to producing but when it’s time to finalize and mix down a track I really like the flexibility a DAW can give but with that being said, we can still get a decent mix in the Hardware

Well the key 🔑 of the keys 🎹 is to play keys 🎹 then you have your pads to chop and play samples but you can do either or
Yeah can you use the keys to play a sample chromatically the same way as like an ASR 10 keyboard?
