Thank you so much for taking the time and asking this question. I cut the video very short and skipped that part which I should have left. I rearrange the drum groove to what it originally sounded so I did not use the exact loop the way they had recorded.
@@iamjtroy hey man, appreciate you taking the time to watch the video and also asking the question. Something I wanna elaborate on on the future video. Much love and blessings to you brother.
You're the only other person I think I've heard sample that love story track. Another lofi hip-hop artist that used it is psymun. It on his bandcamp library
That’s so dope, I first heard it when I was 15 when immortal technique sampled it track called “dancing with the devil” very simple but the way they executed with his flow is amazing
Hey brotha, thank you so much for the love and support, 🫡. I feel much better on my hardware when it comes to producing but when it’s time to finalize and mix down a track I really like the flexibility a DAW can give but with that being said, we can still get a decent mix in the Hardware
Yo!!! Thank you so so much for sharing this with me. I just heard the record after reading your message and it sounds so good with their vocals on top of it. Exactly the same chops. I really appreciate you brother.
Im on the fence with buying this. I have yet to see anyone sample, for example, say 1 or 2 seconds of a piano or bass from a record. And then assign it to the keys, rather than the pads. So you can have the full range of notes/semitones from the record sample. Not from the sound kits that are included. Do you know if this is possible on this machine?
Pardon my lack of knowledge but did you upload tracks from the vintage records into the mpc bank? I feel like I can become a monster at this but Akai's user interface is mind scrambling for me to grasp at the moment.
bro the keys 37 seems dope af. just small enough to still be portable. I would set that up on my lap and vibe for hours and having the keys is crazy!! Does it have a built in battery???

Dope video bro what’s the name of the monitor you have by asus
Can you play chops on the keys, like a drum program not a key group?
Hey bro! Love your content btw! Curious why you didn’t just trim the drum break and use it as a loop vs chopping?

1. Dope
2. re: MPC3, does transpose work for you? From the main page, It doesn't change the octaves on mine

That’s a great question. so far I have kept most of it but it’s getting to the point where I might have to get rid of some

wats the point of the keys if nobody ever uses them to chop and play samples with
Well the key 🔑 of the keys 🎹 is to play keys 🎹 then you have your pads to chop and play samples but you can do either or
Yeah can you use the keys to play a sample chromatically the same way as like an ASR 10 keyboard?
