I've been sewing since probably before you were born, and I LOVE this video. You've taken a very complicated process and made it so accessible! Your video is better than 4 pages of written pattern instructions. And the pants themselves are lovely; classic lines, professionally made. Fantastic job my dear!
i have literally never sewn in my life but the pants in in the thumbnail were some of the most beautiful i've ever seen, and i had to click. new sub!! hope to continue seeing you and your channel grow and thrive!!
Bro straight up this video is a holy grail, I literally FINALLY managed to make my first pair of wearable pants following this!!! Also if anyone wanted to know- I made mine using stretchy velvet fabric so it works with stretchy fabric too!!
@@nethranaveen792 I messed up the measurements somehow so they ended up massive and I had to take them in loads! I'm going to include them in a video coming out this week actually ☺️
@@KianaBonollo I made a video and included the trousers in it! It's actually a video about dressing like Harry Styles, haha. Thank you for the inspiration!
Awesome tutorial, totally going to try this when I get better at sewing. The only thing I would suggest is getting more angles and views of the clothing. I was hoping to see some full body shots of the pants, the back and maybe a bit slower. Other than that, really well explained and gorgeous color.
Yeah exacly, I agree, specialy in the explaination but thanks anyway, I did the pants, my first one and even if it was a bit of a challenge, it didn't turn out great because of the fabric I used. It was too "fluffy" or "fat" , burdigton or something. And the "scrotch" is marked, there is fold surrending it, so it's a bit like "here is my pubis". Anyway it was fun so thanks again !
Literally just found a free sewing machine on the sidewalk the other day. It works. Im going to start by mending my clothes but mark my words I WILL be making these pants. Love your work! Thank you so much!
I am amazed as to how well explained this was. I’m a beginner but I’m definitely going to dive into this project. I just bought trousers just like these super expensive so seeing how I can make them on my own I’m kicking myself. So excited to try and will take pictures 😊
You were my absolute inspo back during covid when I decided to start making my own clothes and I followed your wide-leg pleathed pants tutorial. I'm so glad to see you getting the followers you deserve, your content is always top notch
I believe this is the most elaborated and non confusing way to explain to a beginner seamstress. Thank you so much, your thumbnail is the most beautiful pants I've ever seen someone may have sewn. ❤💜
awwww this video came on my suggestions and hearing you getting excited for 1,000 followers now that you have over 160k makes me SO HAPPY FOR YOU! you’ve grown so much within a year!
Nice job. Thank you for sewing the ends of the waistband like that. That is how I learned to sew and I see all these folks on you tube now not doing that and having bad looking waistbands. Lovely tutorial. And Pants!
I’m new and self taught to this sewing situation and honestly this video helped me so much especially cus you spoke in basic terms and explained everything so properly, absolutely love you and will be subscribing 1000000%
Thanks so much for this tutorial! It was my first time sewing pants and this was super helpful :)!! I used green velvet fabric cause that was the only fabric I had and they turned out pretty good, considering I've never done this before
I’m so grateful for this video- I was rather really interestef in sewing and when I saw such beautiful pants immediately clicked. It’s like you knew exactly what I wanted. You’re awesome 👏 never stop.
i have never sewn pants or used a sewing machine in my life. i can hand stitch a rip and thats about it, but something about this video had convinced me i know how to make pants. brb while i buy an entire sewing machine
This is so helpful ong thank u. I always wanted to make pants but just the thought of making them was scarry. This? This doesn't look scarry it looks complicated yes, but u explained everything so clearly that i cant wait to saw! Thank u ❤️❤️🥺🥺
Hi there...i came across your tutorials and it sooo super amazing...your and your videos are just so super easy and both you and your tutorials are beautiful thanx keep up the stunning work
When you explained that you'd attach the zipper to the backseem, I was so curious how the pants would look like in the back when you wear it, but unfortunately the worn footage showed only the front. I'm just wondering if the zipper is absolutely not bulky and makes a good and neat silhouette at the back.
If you sew it in like an invisible zipper, and pick the right type of zipper it doesn’t look bulky👍 only problem might be if its a very light weight fabric, then it might pull at the fabric a bit.
I did that recently for a pair of pjs (copied the pattern) and used a tracing wheel to press tiny holes into some white craft paper at the back then joined together all the little holes to form the pattern - the back was annoying because part of it folds under because it is a larger piece than the front. Loving these vids - inspires me to do more sewing, I am a bit out of practice because I got sick of sewing after finishing my fashion degree. Those pants remind me of a pair that Jodie Comer wears in season 3 of Killing Eve
That pants look beautiful on you, you really did a great job, I don't speak English very well, I'm from Ecuador, but the basics I know about that language I used to understand your explanation. I'll try to do it.
These are gorgeous! i’m new to sewing and not 100% on making my own pattern, plus out on a crap ton of weight but i’m going to try and make a pair and that’ll be my incentive to lose the crap ton i’ve gained 🙏🏼🇬🇧💗
I was thinking about making some from an old bedsheet for next summer. I was having some doubts about how. And you just popped up in my suggestions ! Thanks for this tutorial ! I’ll tag you when they’re done !
I Love these kind of pants but they're really expensive and you never know how they might fit. I saw your video today and I love sewing anyway this is amazing 💞💞
These pants are beautiful! The fabric, the colour, the fit...wow😍 I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how to sew a blazer ? I think I'd be cool to make a suit out of this
Thank you! And if I did something like a blazer, I don't think it would be very soon unfortunately. Well constructed blazers could take weeks/months to make and the video would be extremely long :(
@@KianaBonollo yeah, you're right! I stupidly didn't think of that 🤦. But anyway, I'm really glad I found your channel, I can't to watch your upcoming tutorials
This is an absolutely amazing and detailed tutorial!!! I'm going to add it to my list of future projects. I don't see it anywhere in your video and maybe I missed it in the comments, but how much fabric would you recommend having for your body size? Also, which types of fabric do you think would work best and which should I avoid?

you can put it at the side seam if you are worried about that, it works really well !
If you sew it in like an invisible zipper, and pick the right type of zipper it doesn’t look bulky👍 only problem might be if its a very light weight fabric, then it might pull at the fabric a bit.
it depends on the zipper you choose. if you use an invisbile zipper it wont do the bulkiness.
