If u watch the full episode, Miku can't control Ellen. She tried to control Ellen before he stabbed Shido but she stop her power because Ellen said, "You can't control me" (I don't know what's the specific line) but yeah, she can't control Ellen. To top that, Miku is very good at supporting.

The reason miku cant control ellen or other high level wizards is becoz of the territory first things first u can control anything in ur territory. Even flow of oxygen (if u have read the LN) so miku's control isnt a problem. The reason for issac and another reason why she cant control ellen is becoz SPOILERS . . . . . . . Issac ellen and 2 other ppl (not yet properly introduced in the anime ) are magicians kind of like advanced witchcraft and all. So thats why she cant control issac.
