      @@seiryumidnite9566 Ryan had a blood clot disorder he speaks about it on some of his videos. The last one he got went to his lung and it ended up being fatal. I know about it because it was all over the recovery community. And it was on his Facebook page. There was even a Go Fund Me to help out his wife and children. If you go to his Facebook page (there should be a link under the description in this video but if not just look up his name its a picture of him in a suit with no tie). Scroll down to October2018 (someone was reposting some of his stuff for awhile so don't let that throw you) once you get to October of 2018 you will see it for yourself

    For me the battle with paws ended when i realized what was going on. Then it made me angry and I started to treat it like I was in withdrawal. I got up got moving got out in the sun. Being in the sun was a game changer for me thankfully for my loving wife who watched me withdrawal more times than she deserved on like my 3rd day she begged me to take a walk with her. Knowing i may not walk through hell for myself I would absolutely do it for her. Once I did noticed i started thinking i can do this and she did it the next day and the next and so on. Before I knew it i was doing it on my own and I started to feel great.

    I know it's been said before, but the key to a good night's sleep is just a little exercise, I'm out of shape big time, and I started by walking 2 miles 1 hour before bed, then a hot shower. Worked up a little sweat, got the blood flowing. I always sleep for 7-8 hours after this.

    I was sick for 3 weeks, then felt great, but about 6 months I was grumpy and tired for about a 1 month it can come and go. Have a plan of action or routine when it happens already prepared. LITERALLY WRITE IT DOWN AND TAPE IT TO YOUR MIRROR. Like exercise, go out to eat, hot bath, nutritional supplements, painting, a hobby, zone out watching Netflix, going to AA or NA, helping newcomers, going to support group, talking about it, journal, get phone numbers, call your sponser. Learning self hypnosis helps and takes practice. Have a mantra i can do this only 1 more hour, 1 more day. Tomorrow i will feel better or a week from today i am going to the movies, make plans to have something to look forward to. DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS AND TRY GO TO BED AT THE SAME TIME EVERY NIGHT - REALLY IMPORTANT.

    I've quit different opiates many times but I didn't realise it was PAWS that kept causing me to relapse. For the first few weeks I always feel euphoric. I'm currently at almost 4 months and have a constant tickling sensation inside my arms and legs. My circadian rhythm is messed up. I feel pretty depressed and lethargic most of the time however when I force myself to go on long walks I usually feel good afterwards. The difficulty is actually forcing myself to get going since it is so easy to give in to how I feel.

And that is what's causing my symptoms to last longer than most people.... it's been 5 months clean for me... But I stopped working out 9 months ago... My body is depleted..... Doctors tell me to go work out.... It's just been a mental thing with me.... Knowing how good a shape I was in and how much work I have to do to get back in that kinda shape.... But I won't let PAWS or anything else stop me from living my life again.... Love ya... Bro.... Thanks for sharing.....

It has let up in the last couple months but I still have days that are a struggle. Mainly anxiety. I'm starting to wonder if I gave myself some kind of anxiety disorder from abusing drugs. I was abusing opiates of all sorts along with amphetamines and the occasional benzo. I really put my brain through the wringer but I'm going to keep moving forward.

    When I first got addicted to norcos, I didn't know what physical dependance was, I was only taking them for 6 weeks, one 10mg per day. So when I stopped taking them, I got sick and went through withdrawal (didn't know what was going on) I just thought I was sick or something.
    So then, once that went away, I was sooooo depressed. I thought my work was making me depressed. I would sit there and nothing looked the way it used to, I was rude to people and said some ballsy things that I would never dare say. I still didn't know what was going on.
    Sooooo I am on day 6 of quitting suboxone, andddd I'm terrified of the paws that's coming :( but this time I am aware of it and I know what's going to happen to I can deal with it in healthy ways. I wonder if I should try anti depressants? I have about 18 Wellbutrin but don't know if that will help. Just scared :/
    The depression is so crippling it WILL make me relapse back to 10 norcos a day. Scared :( but trying to be positive

    had over 3 months, went home during winter break. I relapsed(Heroin multiple bags, Iv) for like 2 weeks or so... now Im on day 5 again. I feel good, I'm in college so I'm keeping busy with school. Anxiety is a big one for me, just walking into a class room my hearts racing, I feel like I'm twitching, can't breath, awww man it blows... I feel pretty good so far I stopped smoking weed b4 class as well maybe that contributed to the anxiety who knows well wait and see.

    • @artemisiak677
      @artemisiak677 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      It helps to build a community with people that understand and are going through the same thing. Also people in recovery help each other. Sharing at meetings helps to get things off your chest without judgement. If you isolated it's a way to get out of the house and around people. And everyone understands what you are going through. Not to mention you learn from their experiences. Find a meeting that works for you and become a part of the home group. From what I've seen the people that have a lot of clean time work the programs. It's a good way to make friends that are sober. Get a sponsor that has more than a year clean and call your sponsor if you are struggling. Work the12 steps with your sponsor. The steps are to learn about yourself and how to live sober and happy.

    Lorazepam withdrawal is the worst thing I've ever gone through in my life. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy! Now my brother is going through the same and his withdrawal symptoms are somewhat different then mine. I'm praying so hard for him because his worst symptom is his face burning all the time! ECT ...

    I went through detox for methadone, oxycodone, klonapine and phentermine. I just got 6 months clean and am in PAWS. I was fine until I got to Sober living and went through it at 3 months and now at six months. It's scary and if you don't know about it, it can definitely cause a relapse. Mine is physical, mental and emotional. I don't want to get out of bed, do anything and the depression can be overwhelming. Being around people that are in recovery and understand, reaching out. Talking about it and knowing that it will pass helps me. Also diet, water, exercise and laughter help. It's almost like being bi-polar. One day you are happy and the next day you feel like crap. Don't give up, it gets better...

      I have the same problem. I had been on methadone for 15 years and stopped 9 months ago. I fell into depression most of the time. I just relapsed on perkacet and it made me feel good and guilty. I have had extreme anxiety and don't even want to leave the apartment. this led me to relapse and now I'm contemplating goin back to the methadone clinic. at the same time I dont. it's a bitch

      Did you go through detox and rehab? Have you tried antidepressants and or gabapentin for the anxiety. I have no anxiety, but did really bad. Also eating healthy, staying away from sugar and caffeine helps a ton. Stimulants will give you anxiety. And exercise. I feel a ton better since I've been doing all that. Good luck!!! :)

    no lie and i dont wanna discourage anyone but i must be a very rare case after 5 years clean i was still having the sweats, couldnt sleep good and that intense edginess. no mental issues. no depression or fear, worry, anxiety or anything. just that shitty edge feeling 24/7. i mustve burned up my receptors and theyre not growing back. i mean 5 years!!! i eventually gave in and after 5 years clean i did dope for a few weeks just so i could get on suboxone, and ive accepted that i may have to be on it for life.
