I WAS GOING TO GO, BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO FREEZE MY ASS OFF, MAYBE NEXT TIME WHEN IT'S WARMER, LOVE THIS
SWAP MEET AS IT'S SO MUCH EASIER TO WALK, NOT LIKE POMONA WHICH IS VERY HARD TO WALK IT ALL, GREAT JOB AGAIN MIKE, TWO THUMBS UP!. ANOTHER NICE THING ABOUT THIS IS U DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR THE PARKING HERE.
This one is definitely an easier walk. The cold really woke me up this morning.
They raised the entrance fee to 15 bucks now.
Another GREAT vid Mike, keep em coming and we will watch!!!! 👍😉
Thank you
@@MikeFrankovich 👍👍
Thanks as always!
No problem
Mike, I really enjoy your videos. They are well done and I was born in 1960. I was a mechanic helper for my uncle at the age of 12. I was his parts cleaner. I love these old cars. They are built better than anything built today 👍👍
Thank you
Thanks Mike. You are very dedicated regardless of the cold
Wasn’t bad once I was walking awhile
I always enjoy Mike's videos
Thank you
Me all warm in bed watching this from vegas. I haven’t been to LB in years. Thanks for posting. Following now.
Welcome!
How times have changed. Big car dealerships once spread for miles across city streets loaded with brand new cars and trucks. Now when dealerships are shutting down, it seems we are seeing them all again at the end of their cycle, with some being reborn wearing all the latest high performance components and a lot of meticulous attention to detail. If only Cal Worthington, Felix Chevrolet, Fletcher Jones, and about 1000 others all had TH-cam available for free advertizing in the 1960s. No such thing when all these cars and trucks were sold off the showroom floors. Saturday and Sunday TV was bought up by the car dealers running 24 hours a day in short ad segments while watching all your favorite movies and events. The Sunday newspaper had a giant classified sales section with full page color photos of brand new models at a discount. If you watch closely, you may catch a glimpse of old Cal and his dog Spot walking thru the aisles of these once magnificent relics now just sitting and waiting to be restored or recycled.
Great review on such a cold SoCal morning! THX!
You're welcome
Mike your the Best...
Thanks
Excellent Coverage & Presentation
...YOU Set The Bar Mike , Thank You ~
You’re welcome
That red '65 Malibu Convertible is killer.
That was a nice restoration.
Thanks for another awesome video!
My pleasure!
👍 Thank you
Thank you too!
Hey Mike, nice West coast videos! I’m an East coast guy covering classics. Keep up the good work
Cool. Haven't been able to hit anything on the East Coast yet. There's so much out here to cover.
Thanks for your posting your video Mike on these rolling art vehicles .
You’re welcome
Gracias Mike F.
You're welcome
🙏 I really like your videos 👍 I often watch them twice seeing details on cars I missed the 1st time. Up in Washington State car things are pretty much quiet so I get my fix off TH-cam . You are appreciated Thanks Mike !
Glad I can bring you the events in SoCal
Thanks!
Thank you
My car finally made one of your videos! The grey and black Buick skylark. It’s always been one or two cars away from the ones being shown. Keep up the great videos.
Glad I got your car in the video. Thanks for watching.
Well done! Datsun B210
Don't see those everyday.
It's cool to see your van, props.
Thanks. The video from the van meet is up now
Kudos for you for being out in the cold checking out the cars!
Thanks. There was that "what am I doing here" moment when I stepped out of the van.
32 here in Omaha and only a driveway Thunderbird warmup. Back in the nest with snow here in Omaha on Monday.
Should have said it was cold for California. The wind made it really bad.
Awesome video 📹 Mike! See ya at moon eyes irwindale bud!
See you there!
Yes the car are cool Peace out Happy new year
Happy new year!
I always watch your videos on TV. But I use my phone to like and comment.
It's probably easier to just do it on a phone. I actually had to Google how to do it on a TV
Thanks Mike for all of your hard slogging. Every one of your videos is a real highlight viewing for me. Amazing how fast you are uploading. Thank you.
I try to get the swap meet videos up as quickly as possible. Even I was surprised how quickly this one uploaded using cellular.
Always good to see you at the shows! About 17 minutes & 30 seconds in you show my blue, 68 Jeep… thanks for the post. See you at Pomona 👍
Cool. See you there.
Thank you , Mike for another Great Video !.....Happy New Year !..
Happy new year!
Gorgeous van Mike. Sweeeet.
Thanks.
Thanks Mike, take care of yourself buddy, we need you!
Gotta keep on filming!
I didn't quite make it today hit a huge pothole on 91 fwy east just before I got off on lakewood Blvd but popped 2 tires and bent 2 rims so there goes that what a way to start the year..
That sucks. Hope you're OK.
Mike thank you for identifying the year make and model of each car for sale in your videos. I have a flat screen mounted on the wall of my shop and I play your videos while I’m working. If I am under a car or something and I hear you mention a specific car I’m interested in I can either stop what I’m doing to have a look or just make a mental note to go back and look later. Very Useful.
Thanks. I try to identify the cars, especially the uncommon ones.
48 degrees, hell yes it's cold! Good show Mike, thanks! Enjoyed.
The high winds made it really bad.
I'd love it to be 48... 32 and falling with temps this week reaching single digits here in Missouri. @@MikeFrankovich
Hey 👋 Mike great first video for the year, I watch on my TV then later go on my tablet to like and comment, there’s only one other that I view, but he’s in the mid west area, you are the only ones that has a comment or letting someone know that you are there 😎
Thanks. The channel was slowing down and according to TH-cam it was due to lack of likes and comments. They changed the way the algorithm works. My channel is unique since most of my viewers watch on a TV.
👍👍👍
If I saw correctly, the LeMans w/ OHC6 and manual had a price of $7K which seems reasonable.
I do know I shot it in a prior month. Can't remember what the asking price was.
the 65 toyota van at the beginning behind the olds convertable is awsum I had one wish I could find another I have a 91 privia now
Mike, I enjoyed Long Beach, your temp. out there was as cold as here on sunday. I've wanted to ask you about your 1969 Impala, If you might want to sell? Details etc. Thank's Wayne
Not selling the Impala.
48 deg lol it's 31 deg in Erie pa, wish I could be there.
Lets just say it was "cold for SoCal."
Allways good vids from u
...mutch. love brother..really want 2 your 40.. nomater what it be like..come on.. man..ps dig u 4 sale stuff..
Mike, Enjoy your walk-arounds! Quick question: For an average person who visits these meets, what’s your experience concerning whether one could trust the sellers to be giving honest information about their vehicles? Are there sellers looking to scam or take advantage of buyers? Would one be better off buying from a used car lot or dealer than out at a swap meet? A lot of these prices shown here seem way too high for the vehicle condition.
That Black Caddy Convert is a 1948 model
Do you have your cars set up in a playlist? I'd like to see those.
There is a playlist labeled "project cars"
@@MikeFrankovich Yeah...I found it and watched a few of them. What cars do you currently have?
Hey,,Mikee likes it,and we do too...
Cool.
I was there.. very empty.. was also looking to buy new ride..nothing at all.. will pomona.. otherwise probably buy already done turn kep online from Coyote classic , Volo etc..
Hopefully Pomona will have warmer temperatures
If a car is for sale and there is no price, is it really for sale much more than a car that is not shown as for sale?
People who are serious about selling put a price.
Hey big mike
Hi
Whats your favorite show of the whole year?
My favorites to film are the shows that have cruising as well as parked cars. Great variety of shots. I also love filming Pomona since I get to talk more about the cars since they’re for sale and people expect a description with my opinion.
Show us more. Your cars...u only showed us 2 van and amc oh ya fox body. Nothing old
👍
great job mike thanks stay warm cold for cali.
Not normal temps for sure.
