    Bless this video!!!! I just bought your new adapter but attempted to attach it in the same manner as the old. I lost so much gas and i lacked a spanner to tighten so i gave up. Cheers!

    If i I tighten too much the gas is already flowing into the adapter, seems that even without the screw turned in the adapter the pin is too close to the cylinder valve. It works only if I hand tighten it. Maybe a thicker washer will solve the issue? Any idea where to get some?

    • @KegLand
      @KegLand  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      SHould have a thickish hard white nylon washer there, actually

      @@KegLand The thick nylon washer is there but it seems to be not thick enough, maybe 1mm too less, the issue is here in Germany with different Sodastream cylinders. Any idea where i can get a thicker washer?

    Maybe someone here can help me with this question - this adapter allows you to connect a “type 30” regulator to it, but a lot of the aquarium regulators for sale here in Australia indicate they have a “W21.8” connection. Are they the same thing or would I need to buy another adapter to sit between this Sodastream adapter and the regulator?

    • @bigbowlowrong4694
      @bigbowlowrong4694 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Will answer my own question here - no further adapter is needed. So if you have a regulator with W21.8 threads in it, it WILL fit onto a type 30 connection.
      Just make sure you actually do tighten it down with a wrench, hand tightening it will drain the co2 overnight (which I just found out).

    I have a similar regulator. I connected it to a CO2 tank, and the other side to a Soda Stream machine. The pressure is very weakened won't carbonate. I can only increase regulator pressure to 45-50 before the safety relief values opens. What am I doing wrong?

    • @mysterioushooded
      @mysterioushooded 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It may be that your regulator has a safety relief valve whose pressure is 45 PSI? These guys sell safety releif valves that can be swapped in and out at different pressures

    You have some great stuff, I just wish I could get them over here in Sweden! I have another adapter with a "security hole" in the middle of it for when you detach a full bottle but when you attach the bottle a ton of CO2 escapes through that hole. This valve thing seems much smarter!
