Super7 Ultimates Nickelodeon SpongeBob SquarePants and Sandy Cheeks Action Figure Review!

- Today, I will be going over the articulation, aesthetic, and accessories of the brand new Super7 Ultimites SpongeBob SquarePants and Sandy Cheeks figures!
I pretty torn on these guys for a couple of reasons. Starting with SpongeBob himself. I think he's cool, but the pricepoint could have been so much better. I think he looks incredible from the paint to sculpt. He looks perfect. The accessories, for the most part, are pretty good, I just wish they chose other things than what they gave. I could've lived without the alternate head and the bubble buddy and would've preferred some Krusty Krab stuff. The articulation doesn't need to be great, but it definitely could've been better. The legs make no sense to me and should've been better. As for Sandy, I love her! The articulation is pretty much as good as it can be for her design. The sculpt and dome are awesome, but the paint could be so much better on her. But where she really shines is the amount of stuff she comes with. The 'I wanna go home' stuff is so awesome. The gloves are great, and the fish head is a good deep cut that I won't use, but I love. Overall, I think Sandy is worth the high price, but Spongy could've been a bit better.

Also finally someone talking about the fact that this is the first adult collectible figurine line for SpongeBob SquarePants and even though Super7 did get the IP it's still a huge accomplishment.

I think that these two figures are good as they. Knowing that SpongeBob has different looks. Knowing how expensive it could have actually be more. I'm okay with this I like these figures. Because I can see them giving more accessories for SpongeBob. With other figures so hopefully they do that.

I think mine and your opinion is very similar I do think both figures have shortcomings but I still want to buy both fingers and the entire line.

reat review!! I do hope we see a Mr Krabs with plankton and a Mrs Puff or Pearl to round up this line i would be shocked if we see a wave 3. My only big gripe not having seen the figure with my eyes yet (Super 7 is awful at fulfilling pre orders) is how thick and out of scale Spongebobs legs are. I get his out of scale height wise as his the hero character and the wave will be super small but yeah could of been shorter and added in that saptula and hat

I want Sandy cuz shes more articulated i can understand why spongebob is so limited in the terms of movement though somehow diamond select managed to Jack extremely posable for such a slender looking body both normal and burnt variations

Which version do you think is more worth getting, Super7 or Nenderoid? I loved this Gary from Super7, big and detailed, he seems to be the best Gary I've ever seen, while the Nenderoid is much smaller, but what I liked most about the Nenderoid were the accessories, the spatula, the hat and the hamburger, I'm not sure which one version I get

would you buy another spongebob that is from the splinter episode with different thumb accessories and slightly better painted socks?
I would like the big thumb accessory lol
The Nendoroid version will come with a hat, spatula, krabby patty, gary, stand (for jumping and running poses) and will also include the option for legs with bent knees as well as two face plates and 3 types of eyes. I don't know if the hip and ankle articulation will be any better though. It's also smaller and the proportions are different. It's not due out for a few at least five more months.
My Nendoroid Spongebob is literally shipping to me as I write this, he's already released in Japan. Should be in the states in a month.
I feel like that's too expensive tbh
@ZaccToys He was cheaper than the Super 7. I paid roughly around 65 dollars shipped from Japan. No joke man!

This is very disappointing compared to nendoroid SpongeBob! Better articulation & paint job with the same price super7 is asking for!!!
It's also a lot smaller with a lot less accessories

I just wish super7 would’ve included SpongeBob karate hat & hands to go with sandy

@@ZaccToys they don't have a lot but there are a few, one example is there was a time Nickelodeon had loyal subjects make some Nickelodeon shows like hey Arnold, Rockos modern life, the wild Thornberrys, and other shows and even Spongebob as they had Spongebob as he had a Krust Krab hat and his spatula(note the figure is kinda small) and they even made Patrick who came with Plankton(kinda a weird thing for him to come with but whatever), and there was when super7 made Spongebob, Patrick, Mr.Krabs and Squidward for they're reaction figures line(which were okay) and JAKKS did make a few Spongebob figures years ago which didn't have that much articulation, with all the Spongebob's moving at the arms, Squidward and Sandy move at the arms, head, legs a little, and tail(obviously not Squidward), Patrick moving at the waste, I never got the Mr.Krabs figure but I think he moves at the arms, and there are only a few more left but thoes are the ones I have(well all the JAKKS figures I have are lost, broken, or still okay but not in the best shape)
You'd be think they would do an alt body of Sandy without the suit.

Just picked Sponge boi up yesterday and despite some flaws, he’s pretty solid. Also great review, the part abt the smudge on Sandy’s element legit made me cackle. 😂🔥

SpongeBob is really disappointing. His extra head isn’t necessary especially the glasses. I would gladly sacrifice the glasses and head for a spatula and hat. I don’t exactly agree with the grill part but that extra head is really lame.
Oh and the articulation is the worst too. His articulation really needs a upgrade.
What would you have liked in replacement?
@@ZaccToys Something that would make SpongeBob more like SpongeBob. I guess a grill wouldn’t be bad but that would probably take too much space so bubble buddy would have to be sacrificed too.
