Meh, once you find out the intended puzzle solution, it's not that difficult. It's not the devs' fault most of y'all clowns didn't bother to figure it out and just powered through it for some optional party member. Who isn't even that good, I swear, True Undead Paul is weak as hell once you get to the endgame!

Really admired the reference to the previous fusion collabs shown in the Smash Bros character select screen. For a second I just thought they were doing a funny with Steven but then it clicked when seeing everyone else.
