There's no technical way, except for declining runway, you run 190 kph on a 2.5 10V no turbo. Must have done something, other fuel pump or injectors ..
I have the same Mercedes with the same om605 engine. My top speed is the same. Its converted from 300i petrol to diesel. I don't make the conversion I bought the car like that.
OM602 is an old tractor diesel, it is very slow but it will run forever. OM605 is a multivalve engine with much more power but it also won't last as long as the old one ceteris paribus.
I have a w124 300TD Limousine with Original 200tkm , it’s for a 30 year old diesel not a lot. And its fast as fuck. I am thinking about selling it. But I am not sure

Our w124 200d goes +-170-180. I didn't believe it myself until I drove behind it.
That high speed vibration is from the driveshaft.

If it has 113hp it's an OM605, multivalve. The OM602 has 90hp.
