I had a hard time shedding tears in this scene. The things he put the Yanyan and Derang through in the name of the greater good was horrific and cruel.
He felt sorry for yanyan because in the end, he loved other women. He won't chase yanyan from his brother if he knew there would be xuyao. I feel bad for yanyan
Don't feel bad for him when he died everything about his position she was the best queen he could that why he married her and he do love her in the end she got everything she wanted .
I cried because of the extreme complexity in life, when the built in survival instincts caused people to be selfish, but events in life offered options to let go, to self sacrifice for the great cause...
Ela ainda chora depois de tudo que ele fez não fiquei com pena deveria morrer sozinho cade a concubina que dava tranquilidade e paz e ele precisava dela
I probably would've drank a toast to his death while he was breathing and looking at me and threw him a going away party after he died. The concubine and her baby are another story.
Its so sad that in those times the women were literally forced to marry these men who then could also have multiple other women/concubines who were constantly trying to replace her. She had to not only endure him being intimate with her whenever, however, and wherever he wanted, but watch or at least know that he was constantly sexinv other women...including maids and slaves...and sometimes men if he so faced. She couldn't say NO....even if the sex was not good! She better love it and shut up about it.
It is odd how he took the woman away from her true love he dies, and she gets her true love back I don't know if that is karma or if that's justice. Either way I stand by my last statement I laughed while he was dying.
Historically, Empress Dowager XiaoYanYan took HanDeRang as her husband, after the emperor passed away. Her son treated him like a father, and looked after him past his mother's death til his dying day. Whether they had a love story prior to her marriage into royalty is unknown, so the circumstance was scripted in. She bore 6 of the emperor's 8 children, so her favor from the emperor is also long and true also. The fact that she married HanDeRang, and the fact that her son did not resent this, even after YanYan's death, proves that the relationship was accepted by the young emperor and the court.
To be honest i think all 3 of them had an understanding that yanyan was the only one who could handle the position. She did not have a claim to the throne by birth so the emperor marrying her made sense. Keeping han derang as the prime minister also made sense because the man is the most competent, and would support yanyan till his last breath. The emperor knew he would die sooner or later so there always was a chance that the lovers would reunite and keep the empire stable on his behalf. Yes separating them in the beginning was cruel, but no other woman would have been able to handle the empress position, and had she married han derang from the start then yansage's rebellion would have succeeded because yanyan wasn't there to deal the final blow.
I did not feel sorry for him. I think he got off too lightly as did the concubine. The concubine obviously didn't know that this queen could've gutted her in her sleep.
No these are Khitans who became the Liang Dynasty of China, they adopted Chinese language and political structures as they saw fit, then they lost their empire and migrated West. The Qing came hundreds of years later. There were many dynasties ruling different parts of China at different times many were not Han but they just adapted do they can rule the people.
Are these Han Chinese tribe costumes? Weren’t they annexed by Qing? I always thought they had to send tribute to Qing including their princesses as concubines to the Qing emperors. Also I always heard in Qing dramas of Qing princesses having to marry into these tribes.
No these are Khitans who became the great Liang Dynasty of China. They were almost a thousand years before the Qing dynasty. The Qing was the last Dynasty and they were Manchus a northern non Han tribe that lasted until they were overthrown in 1928. Many different ethnic groups ruled various parts of China at different times sometimes several different kingdoms existed. They mostly adapted Chinese language and political structure to more easily rule the people who were majority Han. These people still exist as ethnic groups in China today.
Took his best friend's woman knowing that they were in love and talking about moral integrity

La quiso ?? ,que paso al final con la mujer que la engaño la que se supone que era buena chica
@@ameluzrodriguez1445 She committed suicide, to "go with the emperor". Very convenient for the storyline.
I know this is wrong to say, but I was so happy. He was suffering slowly and dying. For some reason all I could do was giggle at this episode.
☠️💀
There came a point where I wondered if the emperor was just faking it and wasn’t ever gonna “check out”.
@@spicyritas4795 oh, I completely agree every two seconds. I'm sick I'm gonna die we're still waiting.
Tang Yan xinh đẹp quá❤❤❤

Steal another man's love interest. I did not feel sorry for him. Plus, he cheated on her with other women. That was wrong .
He never looked better.
😭😭

She was never in love with him in real life they only had one child the rest with Han

I think she probably came to care for him as a person but her one love was Han.

Loved this drama but did not like the emperor because of what he did in the beginning.
