Dude, being there and watching firsthand, still can’t get over how impressive that ride was to end your season. REALLY REALLY solid job! Proud to have lost my voice cheering you on in that chase group.
I know the season is over so we won't see many more of these videos (which are awesome BTW), but I am hoping I can make a request! I know my handling skills, especially know when and how hard to brake really holds me back. I definitely over brake on CX courses and I'm willing to bet a lot of others do to. I'd love for you to talk about when you are and aren't braking (a great example is when you mentioned about halfway through that you didn't need to brake because ruts were forming). Thanks for the awesome content!
It's a real shame that they're not going to get a big dump of rain. That would make things far more exciting. Nicely done video, Curtis. Best of luck to you!
There are no barriers on this track. It's necessary for cyclocross riders to show their advantage of bunny hop skill. Highly recommended to set them into the World Championship course!!!!
Keep looking at the course and even with changes there’s not much of a technical challenge - it’s going to be group racing and an early crash on the descent could take out half the field - coming off will certainly carry a high penalty given speed they’ll be going and I would think zero chance of getting back after a mechanical. Good luck to you and your fellow US riders. I’m thinking that Clara,Katie, Jack, Eric , Maddie and yourself could all be heading for a solid result.
Why we make courses wide as freeways? Cool and flowy through the woods but should have narrowed those huge lanes and add 2 sets of 🚧's. Great discription wishing great quick legs today. Show sometedwhite and blue for the crew 💪🚧🏁🌈
Thanks for showing and explaining the course. But after watching all the races in Belgium this course seems to lack a lot: no sand, no mud, no running, no bunny hops, no roots… For the world championships this seems a bit poor. At least some sand pit could have been easily built in.
If WvA would have been at the startline on this course he could have just gone to tt mode.. then the rest of You would compete for second place on this fast course..

Nice for those of us who can't watch in person
Pretty straight forward for the pros. Just who has the big legs on the day !
There are going to be a lot of fast slick corners. Not just a big leg race.
Is GCN covering the race?
super fast, good luck
Excellent !!!!
All the BEST 😉
Good Luck!
Go get em, Curtis!
