I agree I think the art style is great. Though for me the jump cut to not show the guy getting his leg amputated was really cool and great. Not watched the entire video. Do think it'll be or can be great.
looks like Evil Genius + FTL when i played the demo, i tried transferring storage stockpiles and armories near the elevators. makes it easier to transfer cargo found via missions in the flight deck to the production factories/farms. it also makes it easier to repel boarder coz the military would grab guns on their way to the elevators. which often ends up as the main battleground since boarders also try to jump between floors.
Strong vibes of Goldorak here, 70's and 80's anime. Even the story is very similar. A prince losing entirely his family from a distant star, Vega. The way they structured the ship design and the positions of the crew management is identical to the Yamato. Absolutely love this. Looking and praise to the final product.

From my own playthrough with this early access, the lesson here is to build one thing at a time with the limited resources we get instead of trying to build everything at once. We only have a small crew to build everything even with the priority choice. The dev still need to fine tune the npc behavior, they appear to do things randomly and often fail to benefit based on needs.
At around the 16:00 you were talking about traveling 'East' to stay ahead of the Z race. Makes me wonder if your physical location is facing North so to the right is actually East
@@zackarygoodman868 It's really nice that maps and globes are made that way. I still know people who will face South while holding a map and point to the right saying that way is East.

That was pure Voltron. Even the names are almost the same. Princess Euphora instead of Princess Allura and Volton instead of Zarkon.
The shoulders on the Princesses outfit reminds me of Adora from She-Ra and the Princess of Power.
