    Frogman pretending this is a self defense video, when dad's everywhere know it's getting your licks in before they grow big, and we grow old. Great video. GOD bless you and yours Frogman.

      @KetoFatty No, what I was saying, is some of us have a sense of humor, and understand how fast our sons grow up.

    Good stuff!
    That is why the backfist is nearly impossible to defend against when done right. The first motion is not to load up, the first motion is, it's on its way to the target (head). Granted, a backfist isn't a great/devastating strike because it's a slapping strike rather than penetrating, but with some speed and a little power, it can buy some time for a more serious penetrating followup strike.

    Had to turn my powerful sound system way up to here you talk, then came the lightening strike at the end.
    My wife had to change her shorts, hahaha

      Couldn't have been that powerful of a sound system if you had to turn it up.

    Great video, Jason. Thanks. Found this as a friend was asking for situational reactions, and I knew best where to look.

    When a SEAL puts in a mouth guard, pay attention, school is in session.

    Learned the same move in Krav Maga. The truth is you really need a lot of training and practice to know when to use this move, and if it doesn't work hopefully your muscle memory knows what to do next. It just depends on who you're fighting. My experience is that quite often that close my punches could fail, and it would turn into a wresting match.

      He literally begged the other guy for mercy while he had that stupid helmet on before battering that kid like that. This guy is an idiot and the stuff he's teaching is trash.

    Thank you for the free lesson I greatly appreciate this, I cherish valuable info that can be the difference in whether or not I survive to see another day because my parents never took it upon themselves to be responsible and to teach their child to be the same.

    Don't know if I've miss a video on this subject, but what is the actual purpose of open hand vs punches? If you don't mind explaining.

    • @TheTruthis5285
      @TheTruthis5285 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You can break your hand punching someone in the face, jaw or head.

      In addition to what The Truth said, you are faster when less tense as well as overall more maneuverable as a whole. Even boxers are relaxed until right before they make impact. Then they clinch the fist for impact.

      If you injure your hand with a closed fist strike you will not be able to operate your weapon platform. Even with wraps and gloves the number one injury in mma is a broken hand.

    • @James_Edward59
      @James_Edward59 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Exactly what Frogman and The Truth said, boxers keep their hands loose and we don’t tighten up until right before we make contact because not only do you lose speed being tense but you get tired faster.

    I like your fighting techniques, can I please add a defending punches being thrown at you, learn to defend a punch that is coming at you by putting your elbows at the 6 o'clock position, with your hands ✋️ open and when the punch comes in, your arms are in the inside of the aggressor arms, deflected out wards, usually their going to have the classic one, two punch swinging your way, so relax and don't tense up, practice, practice, and I like your style of defensive moves, then taking your opponent down so fricken fast, like you said Frogman, they will lose their thoughts for just a second, If the situation allows it, and the opportunity is there, quickly step forward and squatting down and reach down and grab the bottom seam of his trousers and pull towards the other foot and then, well, I'll let your imagination do the rest, Adios amigos, hasta LA Vista., Frogman, your way to Kool, I get motivated watching your training, your kids should always thank you, forever 🙏 experience in the word of God and how to defend themselves. Good bye for now 🐸 Frogman.
