Imagine if Mehmet Bozdag only writes the script and the actors donot put in even fifty percent of the acting that Engin and all these people do would the drama be as enchanting with their near perfect acting. Do you know one of the actors criticized the makers, like they do in other countries. I heard Engin and Cengiz interviews they never said anything against the makers, although Nurrettin (Bamsi) has once said that the writers did not do justice to some characters. But Bozdag openly criticized and blamed these actors (who added 100 times more charm to his masterpeice script) for his issues. Criticising them publically is very unfair.
Plus, as a producer he made at least 3 plays (DE, Mehmetcik and Yunus Emre) within the 5 years that Ertugrul was shown, while these actors were only doing this one play. If he has his career and profits to worry about, these guys also have only this as their means of earning. They are doing the same role for 5 years and at the time he asked for more money (its not confirmed he did because he wanted to leave because he thought there was no more scope for character development in his role) DE was only playing in Turkey and was not the hit you see today. Keeping DE aside, imagine from an actors perspective - after giving a play 3 or 5 years - if the play flops or is only a minor success, that means their career is almost over. So if during the play they get a chance to sign another play - its a golden chance they might not get again - isnt it unfair to ask them to stick to one play while the producer is earning from 3.
So we should not criticize anyone and give everyone credit for their effort.

Mehmet bozdag have a lot of pressure but he created a marvelous series.
And you think the actors didnot have the same pressure. Their own lively hood and career depended on this play. Many many of them are not trained actors and were getting noticeable roles for the first time. And can you honestly minus the actors effort when you say Bozdag created the series - did he do it without ghe actors dedication and devotion.
And if you say Bozdag made them world famous - which means their efforts were not valuable at all - then why is it that we have NOT seen most of them in any play two years after DE ended. In sab ko tou har taraf se offers milnee chahiye theen agar Bozdag ne inko itna successful bana diya tha.
Talee dono hathon se bajti hai. Agar producer ko tang kerna ghalat hai tou producer ka actor ko mazeed acha project sign kernay se rolna bhi ghalat hai.

I think Bozdag has also realized this after Osman. Engin gives all the credit fkr the success of DE to the writers and directors - I saw an interview he gave to BBC.
It was not a good decision on part of Engin..sp.when the people loved his character the most..I have watched a couple of epiaodes of Kursun..which can never match thd level of this mega drama serial of Ertughrul...The actors should give respect & regard to their fans..Same is the case of EsraBilgic..it is for both of them..that not everything is or should be done for money..a few things are done with purest of the hearts..
But i guess as we pakistanis loved the historical background of Ert.these Turkish actors merey took the series as only a project or drama and a source of money..
Wrong decision of halime..and erthugrul rectified his mistake...all ends we'll we loved this series... 😀❤️

All credit should goes to its writer ... he always creat suspense in every scene of the drama...Artugal is surname of the drama ..How Angen Altan can left the drama until the whole story compleat ...All the actors should know that this drama & writer has given them all the fame ,respect & income ...No one was know about Angen Altan .Asra Bilgeek and others before ..
There was 5 seasons and engin did five seasons..so it was complete.

It's a commercial world for everyone their own advantages are more important but yes this drama was their history so a little respect for this character was needed.

Time and again it has been claimed that this drama serial is based on historical facts.
But actually what we see is that there are a few deviations and distortions are there. This doesn't match with actual HISTORY at a few places.
But after all, we have to admit honestly that this Drama Serial is just excellent, superb and extraordinary. No doubt about it.

Yes, it is true to History.
@Muneeb Waseem You cannot say things are changed they only have very little history on Ertugrul so most details they have added. Obviously no one knows the day to day routine and life of these people but the basics are right. Deviations mainly come in S4, Osman is born some 10 to 15 years early and they dont show Turguts son. I think Bozdag could have managed that also, if instead of adding the Noyan sequence he had passed 10 to 12 years and shown both children and ended the season there.

I am watching the 4th season and have never missed a single episode of this drama since the day it started its telecast through Pakustan T.V..Moreover i am looking forward to watch Engin's another serisl Barbarossa..Kursun is hopeless..

This drama series was a huge hit beyond the comprehension of the actors. Some Actors played it like a game while audience watched it with so much of zeal as it refreshed their faith. Depends what each one in the drama and outside the drama got. Above all it was destined to get complete despite all odds.
Thats a very unfair comment which again shows are very common bias against actors. The actors DID NOT play it, they have a life, this is their means of income and if they get better projects they have a right to choose. And when the producers earn by tons thats okay - then you people dont point out that the actors - in DE - acted their hearts out, their dedication, their performance inn their roles are outstanding brilliant and an example of utmost devotion to a project. The director would not have acheived what he did without the superb efforts of the actors. Drama sirf Bozdag ki writing se hit nahin hua, jis impact ki baat ap kartay hain, jis ki wajah se apko drama main realism nazar atta hai, aur apka imaan tazaa hota hai, usmain buhat buhat bara haath acting ka hai.
Ap actors ki mehnat ko discredit nahin kersaktay.

I was not happy at Esra leaving, as the history change, Engin Altan would have left then whole Ertugrul series would have flopped, and these actors got international fame due to Ertugrul otherwise nobody knew them, and they wouldn't have got the ranking, also as Burak aka Osman was more famous then Engin, así saw Engin Altan Anatolia Eagles in that he hardly had any role,they should be thankful to Mehmet Bozdag, for casting them and making them famous

Well Engin Altan was a winner of many awards before he played the part of Ertugrul.
He started on the stage also...as well as movies and other award winning series. Many of those actors were professional actors for a long time..not models turned actors.

That would be another pressure for Mehmet Bozdag bcuz viewers wont accept that and everyone cannot perform like the actual actor does
They should have, because history ki accuracy ziada important hai. Public bilkul object kerti laikin history ko alter kerna theek nahin hai. Jahan director aur actors ne milke itna acha Bozdag ki writing k saath insaaf kiya tha, wahan koi aur actress bhi ajati tou woh bhi adjust ho jati. Ab Bozdag ko bhi history se khailnay ki aadat ho gayee hai. Public backlash aur actors se ziada historical accuracy important hai.
The character that plays the role, gets absorbed in the role. People imagine that character when they think of that role and that name. When the character is changed in the middle of the drama, it looks fake; the whole image of that role is shattered.

@@abdulazeem6693 How about a different actor.....Turgut was with Ertugrul until he died, then was with Osman and then Orhan. he should have been with Ertugrul when he died with Bamsi and Abdulrahaim Ghazi.(sp). They were boys together, blood brothers..it was not correct that he would not have been there for Ertugrul and his family. A different actor would have been ok...but the character would have been by Ertgrul's side.
