Kumral Abdal was a mujahid and dervish who lived during the early years of the Ottoman Empire. He has a legendary personality. According to a rumor, when Sheikh Edebali informed that Osman Gazi would be the sultan, it was the dervish who conveyed the situation to Osman Bey and took his sword as good news.
