My favorite dry fly from May-October. Makes a great indicator fly in larger sizes for Dry-Dropper rigs. A #14 Para-Ant + 24” of 6x tippet and a black #16-#18 Zebra Midge = 🎣
Great video, Tim! When you get a chance, can you do a one-minute fly tying tips segment on vertical whip finishes? I just butchered an otherwise workable ant fly trying to whip finish it. 😞
Gonna try tying this pattern. Thanks for showing all the materials needed to make it.
Sick Pattern Tip! I'm amazed by how you tie them so small yet so perfect 🙌🏼
Nice one, Tim. I especially like the look of that hook as it really seems to be the perfect choice for this fly. Gotta get me a few of those.
I know right. It’s funny how some hooks are just perfect for a particular pattern.
I'll make sure to tie this tomorrow👍🏻 thanks for the pattern
That is a really productive one, Tim. My eyes don't let me tie it quite as small as you though!
thanks for the sweet tutorials! really helps new guys like me 🤙🏻🇺🇸💪🏻🎣
Thanks Tim👍

Kinda complex but ok 👍

Will you and Joan be coming to the Atlanta Fly fishing show 2022?
Yes, we’re planning on it. Hope to see you there.
@@tightlinevideo absolutely 👍

I never fish ants or beetles, I should give them a try.
Why have the hackle facing downward? Will it float better?
I believe it does as the hackle points are what cause surface tension which in turn floats the fly.
It was the ticket on spring creek last week
