Hey Chris nice quick shave not what i was expexting , lol. I accidentley stumbled upon Paul's channel many years ago, i can honestly say he introduced me to wet shaving and i havent looked back since . Fuck its expensive sometimes , im learning to control myself these days . Keep up the good work mate always a pleasure viewing your videos . Like they say "Take it easy , and if it's easy take it home " 🤣🤣🤣
Crackin' vid Cris. Whether I create a more voluptuous wet lather or dense drier lather I don't give a "". It's all works great! My granddad always used to tell me don't over think it unless your building a bridge or building. It all works!
I really enjoy Paul's channel as well and you're right on two fronts - firstly, he is a great bloke... and secondly that lather is far too wet for a Paul H lather! :D
@@antoniowimer I really enjoy Paul's videos... he sometimes wets up his lather on the second or third pass "for you wet heads" which always makes me chuckle.
I have 2 others in my house that squeeze the toothpaste tube in the middle. One is Mrs. Blade4vor, soo... Anyway, I'm glad you got a good shave, Cris, but that dry lather would've left my face on fire. Each to his own, I guess. I still enjoy PaulH Films. Great guy! Cheers! -Rob
It's all I have now buddy, in stainless and aluminium. Along with my leaf and my feather AC! Don't really need anything else to be fair lol I found my holy grail and it doesn't bore me! 😂 Thankfully lol
@@AnotherCutAbove That sounds pretty good actually. I rotate through a lot of razors for the sake of content but some aren’t as enjoyable as others. I would like to use some more than I’m able to:)
I enjoy a shiny sheeny slick voluminous nourishing fragrant lather. Everything else is just getting me by in a pinch. Its one of the most appealing parts of wet shaving to me.
Have you ever tried out one of the shaving bowls by Captain's Choice? Absolutely my favorite bowl to use whenever I don't feel like doing a face/head lather.
I'm firmly in the Paul H. camp when it comes to lather and always get a good laugh from the folks who take 20 minutes to build a lather. Some people turn lathering into an absolute fetish as far as I'm concerned. But as another gent wrote, to each his own. Go with whatever works for you.
Yeah it's the enjoyable part of shaving for me and I like to oush the soaps! It also allows me to use my extensive brush range for longer per shave hahaha but I will. Acknowledge it doesn't affect the shave like I thought it would!
Yes just love that Thayers Medicated witch hazel but just to let you know they are stopping making it so get it while you can I am stocked up on some because I just love the old barber's shop smell I remember from when I was a kid. What I like about it too is that it raises those last few whiskers on my beard under the jawline and makes buffing them off so easy. By the by where is your accent from?
Nice vid. I think PaulH has his shave frosting dryer than yours. I on the contrary favor a rather runny/wet lather....it's a matter of physics: dry has more friction.....wet=less friction slides better. But to each it's own favorite method.
I like using the shaving creams in the tube when I shave my head I still have a bunch of soaps that I haven’t used in a long time I’m growing my beard so all I have to shave my head take care
I started watching his channel about 5 years ago I was watching him and the stallion on TH-cam that’s when everything got expensive so I was like I wanna try that way of shaving
Fantastic shave Chris! But I was definitely expecting that glorious: "3, 2, 1, pickup time baby!!!" Homage lol
I know I wasted my chance! Next time hahaha

Love it Chris! Your videos get better and better each time. Hope you and the family are well. Thanks for uploading.
Wish the audio quality would. Get better and better hahahs

:D too wet haha
Yeah the that lather looks way too normal :)
@@antoniowimer I really enjoy Paul's videos... he sometimes wets up his lather on the second or third pass "for you wet heads" which always makes me chuckle.
Great shave Cris, thanks for the kind words, I know you enjoy a wetter lather, but glad this worked well enough for you.
Paul it all end with the same result! I actually enjoyed trying less wet lathers!

Well done Cris. I love that SV bowl, that’s pretty darned cool. You must be loving the Karve, I’ve seen you use it a ton recently.

Whoo! Now you gotta try the KenSurfs method!!
"There's the burn"
Haha even dryer than paulhfilms
Just paint it on and get on with the shave. 😉

@@AnotherCutAbove Me I am an ex pat Sassenach
I just found this produced a month a go, lathered better than at latherer in all the shave soap/cream i have. Got it at shoppers drug mart.
3 2 1 Pick up time baby!

Defo man, Ivs always sought a wet lather and volume etc. Never thought to try it super dry. I'm gonna try super dry lol
Hii shaving brush name company ?

Muito bom 👍 Brasil
Nice demonstration of how you can get away without 'Lashento's' of lather... See what I did there?😁
Lashentos hahaha brilliant!
lol
watch Paul HFilms channel funny fellar...great shave and video ...cheers...Peter

A few of the TOBS creams have alcohol I think, I know the peppermint one does
This lather is dripping wet for Paul.
Nice try at a PualH lather lol! I think you added bit to much water hahaha! Love PaulH though. He's a lot of fun to watch
I think I got Paul and Ken backwards hahaha
@@AnotherCutAbove 🤣
Das ist ja interessant!
In Deutschland gibt es die Nivea Sensetiv Rasiercreme nicht mehr!!
Merkwürdig!
Die gab es nie bei uns. Aber aus Griechenland kann man sie bekommen.
I keep a separate tube of toothpaste cos my wife squeezes the tube in the middle!
😤😤😤
Join Paul’s Wet Heads On Face Book 👍
I'm in one group on Facebook buddy, took over my life so I don't wanna go that way again.
Hahahaha I’m the same way. My wife leaves the damn top off her toothpaste big old twist in it lmao wtf!
Yep it's fucked! And then her hair get stuck to it and you start brushes your teeth with her hair and hard toothpaste! WTF lol
Must be nice to have skin of steel, like Paul. The rest of us suffer😖😄
Hahaha my skin is soft mate lol 😂 taken me 4 years to start going against the grain on my neck lol 😂
Too wet for Paul 😂 Helps that you’re using an incredibly smooth razor too.
Yep hahaha
Too wet for Paul! You are right!!!!!
My typical lather is much closer to Paul's than yours. Whatever works, though. I usually finish a 3 pass shave in 20 minutes or so.
