I saw that whole game and I was rooting for the Bills to win and the way they lost was shocking but kudos to the Titans for catching them off guard. Amazing finish.
John Africa Theyll always be Houston/Tennessee Oilers always, i still have my 1998 Oilers Eddie George Champion jersey when they played at Vanderbilt 😁😁. Fuck the Tennessee Tratiors and Houston Texans or should i say Houston Turncoats. I will never ever ever ever wear Titans or Texans in life, only Oilers!!!!!
@@jasonwalker9091 sounds to me your another Oilers fan who still has trouble accepting the fact Houston didn't even want the Oilers, Tennessee traitors? Diljabar Crazy! That was Dan Snyder’s second year I believe. My poor Lions were 0 and 20 something in DC, finally won there in 2013 when RG III had his peg leg lol.
@@detroittigers1282 It was his first year. He hadn't even been owner a full year yet. But he was destroying the franchise already, as the first stories about how horrible a human being Snyder is started coming out during these playoffs. P.S. Respect to the Lions organization and their fans. About as loyal a fan base as there is in the league. I hope you guys win a chip someday soon. R.I.P. to my Washington Redskins. The franchise was killed even before Snyder made it too weak to keep its name.
Looking back, the Bills actually would have been better off if Peerless Price didn’t get out of bounds. They still had enough time to spike the ball and the field goal probably would have been the last play of the game.
It was a first down. Kneel then spike. They held all the cards and made an egregious clock management decision. It's 2023, and 90% of the NFL is still a complete embarrassment in terms of managing the clock.
RIP Stuart Scott you and Sterling Sharpe should’ve been the broadcasters for primetime this era instead of trey wingo because he sucks but yeah Stu you were the reason I wanted to get into broadcasting because of your style your swag makes everything you say so awesome
RIP Washington Redskins. This was the first season of the Dan Snyder era (error). He killed the franchise long before they became too weak to keep the name.
I remember as a kid me wanting the Bulls to lose for not starting Flutie,….little did I know that this game would have a once in lifetime ending while I was thinking that
Do you have the pre and post on ABC that day? With Boomer and TJ? I don’t think they did primetime style highlights but it would still be cool to see Boomer’s reaction to the Music City Miracle right afterward
Steve Young was the analyst that day. I remember watching the DH on ABC and Young said that he almost lost his voice watching that play. As stated in this program, Tom was on paternity leave that weekend and Sterling Sharpe substituted for him that night, with Mike Golic substituting the next day.
One of my earliest Lions memories was this game, I was 7 and remember essentially nothing from it other than being manhandled by the Redskins and a meaningless last second touchdown. A good introduction of futility!
Derek Simms Wade Phillips should have been fired after this nightmare. Stupid call and stupid management of starting Rob Johnson instead of Flutie, the Bills are still haunted by the " Music City Miracle " it took 17 years to get back in the postseason in 2017 and they faced Jacksonville, the same team who send Jim Kelly into the retirement home
Some teams want to leave time and kick on 3rd down in case there's a bad snap. Unless you have major issues with your long snapper, though, I think that's playing scared. And yeah, Wade Phillips is a brilliant defensive mind and beyond reproach as a defensive coordinator, and seems like a cool guy, but he's not cut out to be a head coach.
Yeah when you have the greatest running back ever on your team the Lions were almost automatic in the playoffs every season during the 90s and and when he retired the playoffs were not happening on a consistent basis
@@Diljabar yeah this was the first season without Barry and to think if you would have played that season he would have been all time leading rusher in only 10 seasons
krlm2280 I know I’m a Lions fan, I can’t help but think what difference he would have made on a team that started 6-2 and backed into the playoffs with no run game. Wish he hung in there but he was done, no regrets on his end.
R.I.P., Stu. You were taken from us way too soon.
The end of an era in Buffalo too as Bruce Smith, Andre Reed and Thurman Thomas player their last games as Buffalo Bills.
The Bills and Titans have had some classics.
And RIP Steve McNair
Alex Brathwaite Music City Miracle was a classic.....and a curse for the Bills.
RIP Stuart Scott, you were truly a legend
JEVON KEARSE was a beast on Tennessee 😊. Good old 90's early 2000's Football. I remember seeing this game on ABC on that Saturday.
I saw that whole game and I was rooting for the Bills to win and the way they lost was shocking but kudos to the Titans for catching them off guard. Amazing finish.
Bills are victims of the "Flutie curse"...been shitty since this playoff appearance and Flutie IS THE REASON they made the playoffs at all that year.
James L I didnt even watch the 1st game cause after hearing Flutie not starting......😑 Wade Phillips should have been fired after this nightmare.
Lmfao u don’t know shit they had the #1 defense in the league put together by wade phillips and it was the bills owners idea to start him not his
@@jasonwalker9091 Ralph made the call, not Wade.
You can blame Ralph Wilson for his egregious decision on Rob Johnson. He was terrible and an injury bug waiting to happen.
Bills in the playoffs this year

The Houston oilers finally got the bills back 👌🏿

If Flutie had started the game like he was supposed to, the Bills would have won & no Music City Miracle
Mike Youngblood it's Ralph Wilson's fault. He told wade Phillips to start rob Johnson
Gamer All901 Buffalo Bills beat Kansas City Chiefs 21 to 16 known as Buffalo miracle 1999 AFC wildcard playoff dramatic game
That means that the Jaguars would not face the Titans, who were the only team to defeat them lol. Would the Jaguars have made it to SB 34?

fortunately Lions finally beat Redskins in DC in 2013 lol. Now lets see them win a playoff game first since 1991 and 1st road since 1958 haha.
Last home playoff victory for the Redskins to date. Sad.
Dan Hanna And only win for Norv Turner in the playoffs he get the boot in 2000.
Lol the infamous game where Big Tre got thrown out. 😂
Uhhh Scott said Doug Christie? Didn't know the Bills released Steve Christie before this game.
That was a forward pass no doubt about it. At the least sideways not backwards lateral.
Sideways? So a different word for lateral? And it's been proven many times over the years that it was not forward.

Because they were stupid just like there stupid coach at the time
